Him repeatedly saying he wants to sleep is one of the biggest signs of a concussion. The detective and police department need to be held accountable. Very sad story.
@janewaysmom Жыл бұрын
Yes, 100%. Also, even if you don't know the signs of a concussion (which, in my opinion, should definitely be something that police are trained on, since they get a ton of people through that have been in fights), it should be clear from the way Ryan keeps saying he doesn't know and even him saying his highest education was 8th grade that there is SOMETHING up with his mental state. I don't know why they haven't called in a doctor yet, and I'm at 18 min. If you're a criminal, wouldn't you try to throw investigators off your tail? Instead of whining and saying "I don't know" over and over? Why not check his story that Heather is a girl dating someone else against people he would've known back then? I bet if we saw the footage of him trying to talk in the beginning, we'd be even more fuming angry.

@@thewallerfamily9134 you're one of the most brave family I've ever known. My heart ache just thinking about what happened to your son. I've lived through something where justice protected a member of the police, so the first thing I thought is thank God it was all filmed, I live in France and there's not as much cameras in police stations, policemen don't wear bodycams because it's not mandatory. I said to myself that I'm sure you would've never known the truth about this night if it wasn't filmed, they would've said that your son said he was okay and refused help or some lie as we know they make to save their skin. Never taking responsibility, never coming back on their statement, a lot of policemen (not all of them of course) are in the police because they love having the power over people, not for their love of justice, those policemen would rather die to accept that they're human too, that they sometimes make mistakes, that they can be wrong. Unfortunately you see this behavior in all the branches of law, and in medecine too may I add. I don't know your family personally but I'm glad we today have the technology to talk like that, that you can share your story in comments and that you can write your truth for all to see. All of my thoughts go to your family, if you ever need anything, need to talk about anything or just say hi, share pain or want to get your mind out of pain for a moment I can send you pictures of France or talk to you about anything. My social media accounts all have the same name @ rawxane like here I wish you everything good you need to heal, I wish you peace in those hard times, and I hope and wish for the rest of your family to be healthy, find joy in life and never ever suffer again. ❤

This case hit home for me. I had a seizure in a parking lot to go into a festival, I was sober, but the hospital knew I came from a music event and assumed it was self-induced. I was talking just like this poor man was, I couldn't sign my name on my release papers, it was September 2014 and I thought it was 2013. They still released me. I had a seizure less than a mile down the road. The hospital didn't even check to see if I was going to drive myself or had a ride they just released me. Thankfully my ex and his sister was driving but the neglesnce is insane. The mental thought process is so scary. You are stuck in a confused loop. The best way I can describe it, is like the connection from your brain to memories and then to words, is so broken that you get lost and confused and forget the train of thought/convo very easily, a very confused state. It's frustrating too because you are somewhat there enough to understand the words people are saying but you are in a state of trauma it is hard to communicate (his way worse and a different level than mine, just trying to illustrate the mental process I felt and what he may have been experiencing too as it looks similar to how I sounded) wlrst part is you also see the frustration in the other person and you are talking to and you are trying your hardest but nothing is coming out right so you are frustrated and you aren't there fully either of course so it's just bad. I feel so bad for him.
