I changed my plastic tensioner to metal (-2019 6LXBrompton) which had the wrong length, in several versions, to reach the chain-changer fork. Even an expensive sample with - two holes for the axle position, didn't fit my bike at all!! I would have liked if the producers named the production-years, for their products? But I ended up finding a golden, metal sample which did had the proper, and same length, - but the noise from the metal changer-wheels scraping against the fork, made me go back to the original plastic wheels, which now - sounds good! Can you tell a difference between the Ridea pulleys and stock pulleys?

Hi BeachStart, you would not feel the difference on the force, its just the same for less weight and you dont need to worry about rust as its titanium, been using for some time now with no issues.

Fewer coils actually stiffens a comparable-diameter spring, and there's less overall length of metal to twist. Fewer coils= stiffer.
