Does NOT work with factory length springs. Repeat. Does NOT work with factory length springs. Only thing i found for factory springs is a spring compressor OTC 7045B. Its hella expensive but it made this job hella easy

Exactly. This tool says will not work with stock springs. I also did not disconnect the tie rod from the hub. No need to. Just unbolt pop the ball joint and move the hub assembly to the side. You will have to loosen the a arm bolts to get the arm to swing completely down to get the springs in.

Just to add to this. I bought this mm tool and it was a life saver. I put my Stock springs back in with no problems whatsoever using these. Then I replaced the stock springs and used this tool again with eibach prokit springs and it was a even easier install. Install was a complete breeze with this tool!

No you remove it. It can be removed with the spring installed.
