Lmao, Alex reminded me of the used car salesman memes halfway through the Sport mode test. Reed: "This is the furthest we've gone at 50% in Sport mode" Alex: *Slaps roof of bike, smiles and nods* You guys are one of my fav ebike channels on YT, period. Love the enthusiasm, and your testing and installation vids are hugely appreciated. Also love the coverage of other bikes (despite only owning an MX3 and MX4 myself) as well as the honesty when something kinda sucks or doesn't go as planned. Keep it up, guys!

I forget what the e-ride pro range test was for you guys, but I took mine out for the first time on a 35 mile trip on some back trails going anywhere from at least 25 to 30 upwards to 50 to 55. This was a two and a half to 3 hour ride on the East Coast, uphill and downhill. At the end of it I was at 35% battery life on the dot!

25-30mph is peak efficiency. Any faster than that and you're just fighting air resistance. Sounds like the e ride has a trail riding range of about 40 miles. My bike is a caofen f80 with a 72v 48ah battery so about 20% more capacity than yours. I've never come close to running it to zero on trails.

That's what's up! I started the trip at 11 miles and ended at 45 through the trails, lots of throttling and lots of coasting so I was taking that into account. I am pleased with it by far, definitely a new hobby. I know what you mean about the wind resistant though, I was riding behind my friends truck so I was able to catch a little drag throughout the ride

Im Surprised there are not more people out their with the FALCON M. It blows away Sur Ron and TALARIAS out of the box wirh the 72V battery and same powerful motor!. Plus the Falcon has better components out of the box with extremely high torque that needs to be adjusted with the APP that it comes with and no other has that feature. PLUS tons of upgrades xan be done with WARP9. I also love that its smaller like the Sur Ron as opposeed to thr MX4. Thoughts?

The biggest question I get from people is “How long can you ride it?” Could y’all post ride times on the trail if you’re in sports mode and ride until the battery dies?

I've got a caofen f80 with a 72v 48ah and I'd have no idea how long it lasts on trails because by the time I'm done riding I've still got tons of juice. Flooring it at 50mph I can go for about 30 miles before I'm down to 10% and the bike throttles the speed down to like 30.

Because we’ve only ran that battery 1 time in eco mode. We haven’t done sport yet.

I'd be curious to see how well it performs compared to the others and the CHI & VTB 72V batteries for the Talaria MX4. Also, EBMX is testing a new 22S 80V-45Ah battery that has a fully charged voltage of 92.3V @ 3667Wh along with a new 35kW motor for the Talaria Sting.

Based on your reviews I decided to buy a Falcon M instead of a surron or Talaria, but found out it has terrible Quality control, I RECEIVED MINE WITHOUT KEYS! I ordered a Matte black one, and received it scratched and poorly retouched with black glossy paint! 2 months have passed and I still don't know if the bike works or not, terrible experience.

Any update? I wanted to buy this one, as it seems like a cheap upgraded light bee. Was hoping I could upgrade the battery with a light bee one for more range without having to cop a new controller to get to 72V. Sad to see there's basically no guarantee yet that a battery upgrade is even possible on this bike. Knowing that and the fact I really need extra range, likely not gonna buy it. :/ This seemed nice to save money though..

To keep mostly stock I would go with the pro SS most of the time. Mostly because of the power it has right out of the box. But the mx4 is on sale right now for 4,400 so it’s a really hard choice.

No reason to, we feel the only reason to buy a surron these days is to do a $15,000 build on it. The value for what you get just doesn’t compete with these new bikes.
