Both are about the same in ways you are asking. Pro SS is faster but also more expensive, both have similar upgrades available.

Where do you find the pairing code to connect the bike to the app? Just got mine and I am having a bit of trouble pairing the bike to the app.

Finally figured it out!!! If you are having trouble getting your bike to show up in the Toya App just push the M button 7 times to put bike into pairing mode.

Also if you are having an issue with the Error code 2, just pull your controller out about half way and make sure your you main connection is nice and tight. Took me a while to figure out that the loose connection to the controller caused the Error 2 message.

I've been watching a lot of their videos, I've seen a lot of their bikes. I feel like this one definitely is the best bang for the buck! I just purchased the e-ride pro SS. First looking into these buddies, first looking into these bikes, obviously the surround was the first one I saw. Talaria was the second, and then the eride was the third I saw. I was torn between the E-Ride pro SS and the sting r. I still want to get a sting r, but I also want to get this bike too. They're review video looks killer on this bike

Am i right in thinking that the "72v" battery in the 79bike is similar to that of the Rawr Mantis? In that it really doesnt equal out to more performance and is stilll neck and neck with the stock Sting R with a 60v battery? Seems like they are using "72v battery" as a marketing term almost without actually delivering the performance that everyone expects from a 72v battery.

I still don’t understand why a gearbox would not be beneficial for any electric vehicle, for hill climbing as just one example. Sensors could keep things within safety parameters and you could extend battery life. Constant mesh clutch?

hello! if it was up to you would you choose to purchase a falcon m or sting r, i also i thought if i intend on possibly doing an upgraded 72v upgraded controller set up down the road i figure a talaria sting is better with the better motor design as well as it being a gear box which will be able to handle higher power for longer and be more durable, please let me know, i love the content you guys have been making!!! also i really appreciate the info and knowledge you guys bring to the space and how you give the best buyers guide, Thanks!!!

@Talariaboys can you confirm that the Falcon M does come stock with the Sotion motor and the app for iOS. It sounds like from reading Reddit this might not be the case. Also @ 6’ 2” what are some mods that would help me fit this bike. I’m thinking riser handlebars and if warp 9 has the peg adapter and new kickstand. I would prefer not to buy new wheels right off the back but I really want to be comfortable. Also less get that range test done so I can sleep well knowing I got the right ride for me.

Yes it comes with the sotion motor and ios app! Get a riser bar, the warp 9 peg lowers dont currently fit but could be slightly adapted to which is what we have done.

what’s the realistic gps top speed of this bike. they say 56 but surron says 52 and only does 44. i have a 79 falcon pro, have never been able to get it over 48mph on gps with 170lb rider

Just because the motor can do higher power doesnt mean the controller and battery on the stock Falcon can. The motor is rated at 10kw continuous and 20kw peak so its far more capable if you upgrade the battery and controller in the future

awww mannn if surron 2024 models just had the carbon, the motor, the batery, the better controler it would be a no brainer to go for a surron. i can see myself getting a 79M and later swaping over the stuff to a surron frame lmfao. cause im asuming the surron and 79M batery are 100% compatible size wise, and plugs wise (worst case i just need an adapter plug)
