@daviddesmond21436 ай бұрын
The new ones are built poorly and the older ones were worse. Lots of problems with these old dogs! Also lots of campgrounds will not allow RV's older than 10-15 years to camp in them because people abandon them and the campground has to get rid of it. That is why you got this one for free.

My uncle gave me a Travco he ordered new. It had been revamped in the early-2000's, but hadn't moved out of the hangar much since then; before doing any trip I replaced the alternator, fuel pump, water pump, all coolant & heater hoses, T-stat, water pump, tires & Alcoas, re-did the carb (new fuel kill old gaskets & seals), Edelbrock intake, deep trans pan & cooler, had the radiator boiled out & tested, all new fuel flex hoses, brake re-do...my plan is to 6BT and an Allison transmission (OD!) transplant.

I used to fill propane tanks for a living, a propane tank needs to be resertified every 12 years! Your date stamp will be either on the canister near the top or if it's a 40 pound tank which you run a barbecue grill on, it will be on the partial ring. That guards your on enough valve.

years ago on a old car with a bad fuel pump we ripped off a windshield washer hose, hooked it up to the carb and put the other end into a ppesi bottle full of lawn mower gas. the carb sucked fuel from the pepsi bottle and the car ran. who would have known it would run right?

People don't realize auto parts places. There are diamond dozen and sort of the employees that are there! They weren't trained properly, and they don't understand the way that their computer systems work! They don't know how to trouble. Shoot, and they don't know how to to think on their own! It doesn't matter if it's autozone O'reilly's advanced auto or Napa either you find a good store or you don't don't judge autozone just because all the other ones are screwed up.
