79 Year Old Solo Vanlife for Freedom & Adventure. New arrangement for more room!

1.5 million views of her van tour last year. BUT, she redesigned it for even more room in her 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan camper. Evelyn, at 79 years old, is enjoying part-time travel for fun and freedom. She had a little help from her son, but she designed the layout and did most of the work. Love, love, love her setup. I have same van and I also sleep side to side, 5'1in. I want to get that dresser👍. I put my cammping chair same way. Need a fridge also, will look into that a pic oil one. I watch your adventures all the time. Got Teary in one where you mentioned you wouldn't see the beautiful views sitting at home in your recliner. I'm ready to go, fingers crossed! Evelyn not only has lots of space for sitting in front of the bed, but also for storage in easy to access containers and shelves! Love all the different, inexpensive, zippered baggies that fit so well into the various drawers and bins. This camping home was well thought out and fitted just for her. I think she could do long term travelling and be really comfy.😊🇨🇦✝️

Horse pellets! I cannot praise their ability to absorb odors and moisture! I'm not a van lifer but I care for a boomer recovering from a hip replacement and the commode bags and pads are great, but adding the pellets was an absolute game changer especially with the heat we have had this summer! Love this build, great stuff.

This was under the GRACO CRIB MATTRESS REVIEWS : (FIBERGLASS WARNING) DO NOT WASH THE COVER!!! This mattress comes with two liners. Both zip up around the mattress and can be removed. I originally purchased this for my 90 lb great dane puppy. Naturally, it got dirty over time. I removed both covers and washed them. I put them in the dryer on AIR dry. The innermost lining exploded into fiberglass. FIBERGLASS. I started to itch and my face was stinging and I couldn't figure it out. Until I discovered the tiny little shiny pieces everywhere. They were all over me, all over the cover, all over the floor. Much to my dismay, they are also covering the inside of my very expensive dryer. I threw the cover in the garbage immediately. I can only hope that the 30 minutes of vacuuming to the inside of my dryer was sufficient enough. I do not know if the top cover can be salvaged, as it was washed with the inner cover and is covered in fiberglass. The attached photo is the fiberglass that I discovered in my dryer's lint screen.S

I have aThedford porta potty 365. And I just use a good garbage bag with a potty liner. Works perfect. You don’t need special bags in those potties. Just a good strong plastic bag and I get mine out of the dollar store. Of course I dump it every day. And I just put solids in the bag and dump the urine when I’m near a toilet. These little toilets can hold a lot of liquid.
