What is better, a CAT or LIEBHERR A/C Truck?

CAT bought the Terex truck and painted it yellow. They took out the MTU S4000 and put in their engine. MTU continued to supply engines for this truck for some time. Liebherr builds a very good AC drive truck.

@@martinriggs2957 All the trucks are good trucks. Depending on the area, service drives the truck popularity. Service can be expensive though. Mines figure that out after a while. The LeTourneau (now Komatsu) is the only electric rubber tired loader. A very good machine.

@@bighairycat my mistake. I worked for MTU and we were still supplying S4000 engines after they were purchased by CAT. They were painted yellow. I’m retired now but I’m sure they have C175’s in them now v

This truck has nothing to do with EMD. They bought EMD for the locomotive business.

@@mikemotteberg3527 CAT already has a full cat electric truck before they even converted this older mt unit rigs to cat anyway. Look up 795F which is a full electric cat truck. They even use some of the 795 electric systems on these 794 796 798
