Thank you for the kind words, Jennifer! Yes, I'm in the US and I like my Dutch pours on the thicker side, so I use equal parts paint and Liquitex Gloss Medium, then add 2-4 parts Floetrol and if the mix is too thick (which it will be if you're using better paint brands like Amsterdam or Golden) I add a few drops of water as needed.

When you do a "flick" painting, do you use the same paint, medium, medium, and water ratio? Thank you!! Also, where can one find your work for sale? Thank you, Dean! Usually, cells form when paints of different densities are used (for instance, putting a heavy density paint on a light density paint typically means the lighter density paint will rise to the top in places creating cells.)

[ #5 / 448 ] 태고적 옛 이야기를 품은 강렬한 바이올렛 불꽃을 터뜨리자. 별똥별이 떨어지는 저 우주에 나만의 불꽃놀이를 시작하자. 이것은 투우사와 맞서는 황소의 열정도 새로운 행성을 만들려는 빅뱅의 폭발도 아닌 나만의 불꽂놀이를 시작하자. 눈에 보이는 화려한 공작새같은 불꽃보다 우주우 칠흙같은 어둠 속에서 빛을 뿜어내는 빅뱅의 열정이 아름답다. 내 마음의 불꽃도 활화산의 용암처럼 뜨겁지만 달팽이의 걸음만큼 느리다. 엄마 뱃속의 태아의 세포분열만큼 섬세하지만 매일 자라고 있다. 아기의 탄생도 우주의 탄생도 모두가 저마다의 불꽃 이야기를 가지고 있다. 내 불꽃 또한 숨겨진 불꽃 이야기가 있듯 내 마음에 바이올렛 불꽃이 있는 한 나 또한 숨쉬고 있다.

Figure this....when paint is flicked and ends with one line, the paint spirals. When flicking into two lines instead of one line, the paint remains straight and flat. Alright my fellow math nerds, have at it, ( no ending with a preposition), please.
