this is why its important to test fit things before making a trip to the machine shop or doing any bottom end assembly, the coolant passages could have been modified at the machine shop for cheap on a drift motor thats going to live at WOT every bit of coolant counts, lack of coolant flow leads to hotspots, hot spots are how you burn/blowout headgaskets or worse warp metal given the reputation for overheating this conversion has a lot of people do modifications to the coolant jackets/ports enlarging them and polishing them to get more flow and reduce hotpots, something else to consider is this combo on a complete stock parts will only get you to 8:5:1 compression maximum having the block decked to zero and head shaved will get that up a point or so

Yeah that's not correct about compression ratio lol

What rods and pistons? Pistons look like small port pistons (10.3.1)
@maxperez78755 жыл бұрын
Lol NVM just saw the part 2 hahaha

Yep! Will certainly see how they go. They were balanced perfectly, look great for the price. Should certainly be stronger than oem 7age but I wouldn't think that they compare to the quadruple in price rod options from MRP as they are in a league of there own. Factory 7a rods are a known weak point so hopefully these perform well enough. Time will tell
