Hiya V! Where you been?! Nothing beats an early morning stroll around a resort 😊! Or two, or three 😉. Guessing it was lovely and cool. The lobby at the Poly was grand! Sunrise at Seven Seas Lagoon is so beautiful 🤩. The view from the monorail and at the water’s edge really captured it. That condo is fugly 👎. They should bring back the luau 😉. My favourite part was the walk between Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom 😊! Great shot of the monorail and water taxi at the same time! Nicely done V!

@@mikefischer9327 Hi there Mike! 😃 I have times when I seem to have no energy or will to do much of anything except read and be cozy at home. It used to be much worse during those times but walking on property is what seemed to always get me out of a funk and moving again. I’m lucky that the work I do for my husband is mostly online so I can take a break anywhere and get some work done and long quiet walks became my go-to way to recharge. As soon as I’m out walking I feel better and Sunday morning was no exception… it was gorgeous and good for my soul! 😉 The sun rising over the lake always makes me happy! And the birds along the water… everything is so peaceful and calm. The condo is fugly… you are right there but at least next time I do this walk I can walk all of the way through if I want to. I’ve missed walking from the TTC all of the way to my favorite tree in the far corner of the Contemporary in the Garden Wing. And speaking of that tree I was so happy to catch that monorail boat together… it’s the little things like that I love to catch. A lot of people would just have clips of the “better” moments like that but enjoying all of the quiet steps that brought us there is the whole point for me. 🌸 I’m glad you enjoyed it Mike and I appreciate you always showing up to walk or ride with me! 😃

@@dancarson4794 Good morning Dan! 😃 I love the quiet times too, early morning and late night walks are my favorite! I look ahead to when Magic Kingdom is opening early at 7:30 because that means the parking lot and transportation opens at 6:30. It was dark at 6:30 when I parked at the TTC and had already started to get light by the time I walked over to the Poly. My favorite part of staying on property is being able to walk super early or super late. 😂 We just recently stayed at the Swan after the Food and Wine classic one night, it was so much fun but I didn’t film much of the festivities, I was all about the 5:30am walk that morning to watch the sun rise. 😉

Such a wonderful resort... Always loved the Poly. Still on the fence about the tower--wish it was themed more to the look and feel of the original Polynesian Resort. But guess that times move on; and apparently Disney is planning to put that DVC presence everywhere. Means little to me--I can't afford the whole thing anyway.
