I kinda get lip’s reaction, feels like it came from both his failure with college & the fear of losing the house as that’s a huge risk for everyone including him which Fiona seemed a little less considerate of.

i’m so excited that you’re reacting to game of thrones now! i requested it for a while now, and let me tell you, you’re in for a fucking roller coaster with emotions. in rewatching it with my mom to see her reactions to the episodes, she loves it. now i’m gonna watch them with you! ian doesn’t make sense, got upset cause the one dude was bi, but is okay with the trans?

Well, with Caleb... Ian was more upset because of the bi, yes, but still the cheating also had an effect. And the fact that Caleb believed that he was still gay, and that all gays were like him, and if not, then the problem was Ian.

@@brittanygidley1291 The writers messed up here, yep. They would have devoted more time to this issue and generally would not have started anything other than friendship with Trevor. Idk, maybe because of everything bi, there was a bad reaction from the audience and they decided to fix it this way? From what is in the series, I understood to the problem for Ian was that Caleb initially said or showed that he was of a different orientation, and then - surprise! Not only cheating, but deception from the very beginning. Plus Ian had kinda bad experiences before. Cash and Mickey were forced to be with women. The married old men from the club are all cheaters and liars. I think Caleb reminded him of the latter.

@@brittanygidley1291 Before Trevor, I also thought that Ian was a very...I don’t know, physical, simple guy? Sex is important to him, genitals too, toys are not very interesting, because how he reacted to those beads or balls. Although later he and Mickey had some stuff... I'm not sure. Probably with this, where Ian tries sex with a woman and confirms that he is 100% gay, and then after a couple of episodes everything is ok with a trans, the creators deliberately emphasized that women and trans are not the same thing. It's no secret that in real life, many gays and lesbians don't want to date trans because they like certain genitals. And Ian's character and development became a sacrifice of this.
