A couple of years ago I released a short version of this program titled "Trains and Bears on Rogers Pass." Here is the full uncut version. I hope you enjoy!

Really neat to see from another perspective. I was on the survey crew that saw every tunnel from Vancouver to Thunderbay when CPR did their tunnel enlargement project for the doublestack containers. I also helped layout their new terminal in Delta, topogged mountainsides along the treacherous places. The most exciting, adventurous job I ever had

I've train-simmed on MSTS OPEN RAILS ATW from Kamsloop to Ozada across both Rogers and KHP.. back and forth many many times to immense joy. I deeply thank MAPLELEAF TRACKS for their excellent routes and activities.

Beautiful! +1000 You guys in the West of Canada really have great scenic places. And those mountains, what a show! Im on the East side of Canada, enjoying very old round mountains maxing at 1000'. Went in Vancouver, Calgary and Jasper a few times already, and as an exasperated Frog who is tired of the language debate, I would move to Jasper in the blink of an eye. What a beautiful landscape you have over there!

Love these videos! Hopefully I can at some point work on this sub as a Train Master, assuming CPKCS hire US employees for such positions XD. Great shots though of the pass, enjoyed when I drove through it on vacation and Revelstoke on the west end was a great little town to catch some rail fanning in.

The hard work it took to build this infrastructure is what our nations are about. So impressive what was achieved. And we can do great things too don't forget it.

Yea and yet we abandon railways like crazy here. At least some of them get kept as trails but there’s so many in Canada that are just lost to time. At least this mainline makes enough money to keep it as a railway

Breath taking scenery! Great video! One question, why don’t those trains with DPU’s not have their lights on dim? Maybe they do and the camera angle isn’t catching them but it appears that most of the DPU’s in this video don’t have their headlight on.

Men would buld bridges to get themselves off of Dunkirk by a very imaginative English man. That won WWII.

Who writes this stuff... Melodramatic intro. Poetic playful description is way overused. Remote Locomotives are called DPU s. Also never defined dynamic braking and its importance in both fuel savings and down hill control. Helper locomotives can just push without having to couple up unless also needed as a brake engine down the slope. Trains don't have legs to stretch, the cars have wheels. The locomotives have drive wheels or axles. All on this pleasant sunny afternoon. (Cliche) If you are watching the video you already know this. Too much fluffn stuff!
