Man just found your channel. I have a 2010 T800 with ISX525 turned to 625. Shift mine at 1600 and noticed the best bark for my jakes are 15-1400. That's when I get my ears ringing and love it.. be safe out there.

I'm from the Detroit, so I'd rather have a Detroit under the hood. Those cummins engines sure do sound good though.

Man I just found your channel started going through all the videos and BAM, you took off like 10 minutes from where I work in this video! lol I’m driving all over Detroit all day. Quick question tho, where do you keep your RPM’s on these Cummins? I’m used to low rev kitty’s but these ISX’s sound like they work best if they’re barking! lol
@KoolBreeze3 жыл бұрын
I usually shift between 15 to 18 hundred and occasionally 2k when I'm really heavy. Just cruising along the highway I'm at 14 hundred rpm in 18th unless I want to hear the stacks then I will put it in 17th and tach it up to 16 hundred and let her sing to me. Thanks for watching.

Wow bud sounds amazing 👏 😍 👌. Quick question do you ever get any problems with inspection or anything for having tamped with that ?Asking because I wanna straight pipe mine?I'm in PA I can't find anything that says anything about not tampering with that.I just can't get over the sound for your rig.If you could answer that for me it would be helpful.Thanks.

What year is your truck and do you recommend Cummins ISX to be a first time motor for an owner operator?
@KoolBreeze4 ай бұрын
My truck is a 2008 and as far as motor choice it is just preference. When it comes to repairs and getting motor work done it basically breaks down to Detroit = affordable, Cummins = costly, and with a Caterpillar = get your ski-mask and pistol. To answer your question, yes it's a good motor for a first-time operator. Main thing is to get what you want because anything can go wrong with any one of them at any time. If you're stepping out here with the rest of us, I wish you well and good luck. 🤙🏾✌🏾

@@alexcopeland91 if you can find you a good local diesel mechanic that you can trust or one that is known for good reputable work. Shop labor rates usually ends up being the most expensive part of the bill costing more than the the parts to fix it. Dealerships are the worst and sometimes the slowest. For example Rush Peterbilt here in Dallas, the last time I saw their labor rate was $195hr.

@@KoolBreezegeez, I know with labor prices is up there, I know I’ll be in flatbed, just need something to keep up with it
