assuming you still have this car, 33403-29125 is the speedo driven gear for a 3.90 final ratio you'll need to swap out the drive gear however - there are two sizes, both are 10 teeth, one is for 31-33 teeth driven gears, the other is for 34-36 teeth. They are different diameters so a 32 tooth gear will not mesh with the smaller 10x34-36 tooth drive gear

Nah that was hi 9s or very low 10s to 100kph... with a solid smooth run he should be able to crack mid 9s which is pretty good this car of its day age and kms
