I've got a mkii stainless laminate. It's the got slickest bolt I've ever ran and extremely accurate. I shot a ⅝" 3 shot group after I glass bedded it.

That seems like just a tad more recoil than my 270 Win with 150 grain bullets. I think I can manage that recoil easily.

just purchased a 1973 model ruger m77 would that be a mk1 or mk2 and what brand of rings would u recommend couse i cant find any anywhere

That’s the original m77, the mark ii wasn’t released until 1991. Ruger makes their own rings but I think several manufacturers produce Ruger specific rings.

7mm rem mag the most slept on round on earth shit hits harder than lapua and is 8x cheaper. Not litterally. It's just equal if not better and .ost definitely cheaper
