She had 3rd degree burns over 60 % of her body, did you see her torso when she took her shirt off????? 3rd degree burns are definitely life threatening and certainly when it covers OVER half your body. There was no guarantee she would survive, so many things could go wrong during recovery. I would not wish that on anybody, even my very worst enemy. Burn recovery is the absolute worst experience possible. How callous of you.

When she took off her top, the damage done to her was horrific! How could anyone do something like that to someone? The photos of her in hospital were shocking. Burns over 64% of her body…. It’s a miracle she didn’t die. As for the woman who did it to her, it’s unbelievable. I understand that she thought her husband was seeing Dana behind her back, but burning her alive?! Unthinkable!! I have read her book and she is still a beautiful and strong woman. I am amazed at how well she has done and how she lives life to the fullest. I was a Paramedic for 37 years. I've seen 75% burn coverage and the pain it causes not only the patient but the family. While I worked, I always tried to make each patient comfortable, if by nothing else, by controlling their pain until we reached the burn center. You are an amazing strong lady. I can't imagine doing anything like this to another human being. I have been cheated on and can relate to feeling hatred for the woman who I was being cheated on with but deep inside I always knew it had nothing to do with her. Granted it was not with someone as beautiful as this woman was, but she certainly wasn't ugly. If it was not her it would have been someone else.
