Yep, I always like meets like this. Fortunately, Q580 came in first. It was very cool.

Thanks! That's right, it's always nice to try new locations. I think I've never shot the curve in Elberton before.

The strange thing about Precision Scheduled Railroading is you will see a ten car local with two engines on the lead, and mega trains with only one at times. Make it make sense...
@SilverCometMedia3 жыл бұрын
Well in this case, the 2nd loco was a slug, not for power, just to use as a cab for the crew to operate from so they dont have to run long hood forward back north

It's good to see a little bit of CSX action from Georgia. The wave was pretty cute at the defect detector. What is that interesting car with the tarp at 3:21? This is another cool update, thank you for the entertainment. :)

I wish I could have peeked under the tarp ;--) Great you enjoyed this one, too!

Awesome new intro man.....keep it up. Just curious....is it me or does Q580 has all autoracks??? Did the PSR affected Q210 to merge with Q580???
@mbmars013 жыл бұрын
Thanks, cool you like it :) Well, yes, I suppose it was a combination of PSR and schedule adjustments during the pandemic that led to this change. Q580 might pick up freight north of Atlanta, that's why he is still considered a manifest, but on the Abbeville Sub he has only autoracks at the moment.

Great you like it. I honestly don't know. Last time I saw such covering was when a MoW train was parked in Bogart.

Is there a rule which train has to stop in the siding? or it just depends which train fits into the siding to let the other one pass through?
@mbmars013 жыл бұрын
The dispatcher controls the signals at the sidings and decided which train takes the side track and which keeps the main.

Thanks! Dang, I always keep forgetting the titles of these sequences. The outro piece is called "Heroes", but the intro I currently don't remember. It's all free stuff that you can find on KZbin's own audio library.
