If there's one company to give your money to in regards to LSAT study, 7Sage should be it. They're stellar, flat out.

@7Sage Let me just tell you.... I am a low income student who has nearly gone into debt by purchasing a big company test for the LSAT and have seen minimal change. 13:00 minutes into this video and I literally diagnosed why I am getting things consistently wrong! Dude you are a saving grace putting out this content for everyone to use! I don't know how to truly convey my sincere appreciation! THANK YOU!

TIMESTAMPS Level 1 - Main Point Questions 3:10 - Argument Part Questions 5:45 Level 2-- 9:25 - Strengthen 10:09 - Weaken 10:55 - Evaluate 14:46 - Necessary Assumption 16:35 - Sufficient Assumption 17:14 Level 3 - Method of Reasoning 18:15 - Flaw in Reasoning 19:50 Level 4 -Parallel Reasoning 21:50 Inference Questions 24:40 Most Strongly Supported 25:25 Principal Questions 28:10 Point at Issue Question 31:10 Reconcile 31:30 What I personally took away: Labels are important in the beginning BUT look at the question and see what it's asking for, some of these questions are flexible and very similar. For me seeing what the question is asking rather than categorizing them into a specific question type is a huge time saver. I can skip the step of thinking- what question type is this? Oh the main point question, then trying to remember what to do with main point questions vs instantly seeing that the question is asking for the main conclusion and going from there. I think when you start learning the LSAT you tend to stick to these categories like their gospel and then you get into a habit and then you try to break out of this habit for time's sake when you start pting. I like the levels because it gives an organized overview so it's not messy in my head after looking over various materials. As stated in the video this is the bare minimum!

I discovered 7Sage literally yesterday, one week before my LSAT. Been using Barron's and LSAT for Dummies and do not feel well-prepared or confident. Just watching the free videos from 7Sage has provided more confidence in me than my past 3 months of studying. I feel like I've wasted so much time. If I'm unsatisfied with my score next week, I know for a fact I will enroll with 7Sage and knock it out of the park in December.

Would love to hear more about the difference between a Strengthen/Weaken questions that ask you to strengthen/weaken the "reasoning" versus the "argument!"
@tylerduke90499 жыл бұрын
Great video, you explanations are significantly helpful! I was hoping you could explain one more thing. In the question stem what is the difference between "reasoning" and "argument"? Such as Flaw questions 1. "A major flaw in the argument is that the argument".... 2. "The reasoning in the argument is flawed because the argument"... Im having trouble finding definitive definitions for the following aspects of the LSAT 1. Reasoning 2. Structure 3. Logical- such as "logically follows" or "logical features"

Your video are very helpful and your teaching method id great. You should consider posting some additional video explanations of Logical Reasoning and Reading Comp in addition to the June 2007 LSAT. Maybe some of the older tests. That would help a lot.

+George Matthews Thanks, George! We can't post any additional free videos, unfortunately, since all of this stuff is under LSAC's copywright. We have LR and RC in our full courses here: 7sage.com/enroll

Hi 7Sage, I'm not sure how to solve my problem but here's my issue. As a small business owner I have prided myself on being the guy in every group who thinks outside the box and finds solutions that no one else may have thought of; I tend to think about problems in very unorthodox ways. Having based my identity around thinking like this, I have real issues when it comes to thinking inside the box, specifically with a test like the LSAT, a test that only rewards thinking inside the box. How can I go about learning to think more inside the box?

When you are working on questions...do you actually use diagrams like [ J-->F J/F ] on the pages next to each question during the test itself? I never thought of writing the information out to the side like that.
@7sage8 жыл бұрын
+wonsliqsunofabitch Hey there-no need to rewrite rules. The master diagram and set up is enough and you'll easily be able to refer to it (diagrammed on the left page of the game).

Am I the only one who does not appreciate the video? The person talks too fast and make a loooooot of segway. Visuals aren't very engaging too. The narrator's way of explaining is kinda distracting and the overall presentation is kinda boring. And for the love of god, please do not move that pointer too much.
