We are using Guest Hollow Geography this year for 7th and 9th. It is AMAZING! We loved it so much that next year we purchased Guest Hollow World History. I hope your next year is blessed.

How do you make the good and the beautiful language arts work without using their book study? I would love to do that too but i find it difficult since its mixed into the daily work so much.

We just skip that part! Everything else takes us a long time even without it. And then I assign other books…either for literature or history or science. We also supplement a bit with Brave Writer throughout the year.
