Man, I've always noticed that cameras always make the intonation of brass instruments painfully honest, it always sounds amazing in person, and then when you hear a recording, you hear all the fracks, all the flatness and sharpness, and everything in between. I'd bet a million dollars it sounds 110% better in person
@johnmacdonald54005 жыл бұрын
An "expert" told me one time that compression and various other things done to process files makes long tones in tune less reproduced and any out of the ordinary like out of tune more significant in the reproduction.

The Beluga Whale is called Juno, he was born in Human Care at a Zoological Park. Mystic Aquarium in Southeastern Connecticut is an Amazing Place, Conserving the World's Oceans and the Animals that inhabit them. INSPIRING. EDUCATING. RESEARCHING. Beluga Whales are Extremely Threatened in the Wild.

The Beluga is not imprisoned. He was born at this facility. He has no recollection or instinct about the outside world. All he knows is this amazing exhibit. Honestly, looks like he's very well cared for, with tons of room to move around. This isn't Sea world. They don't make them do tricks. Just enrichment to keep there brains active. They don't take animals out of the wild anymore, unless said animals are in danger of extinction and they need to take action.

A brass band's sound is at the low edge of what a Beluga whale can hear. So that guy is probably more wondering about the strange, shiny instruments than it can hear much of the sound.
