Time again for me to get these jobs done for the new season coming in here in the UK. I really appreciate you making these easy to follow and clear videos. Thanks my friend.

Your video quality is amazing. I am getting this model CBR in a few days and it’s right around 8,000 miles so I will be using this video!

in depth videos like this make me feel much more comfortable working on my own 500R, thank you very much❤

There aren't enough in depth videos out there so I decided to make my own. This was a ton of work to put together by myself, so it's really encouraging to hear when people find them helpful. Thanks for your support!

This is the perfect opportunity to say I've really appreciated all of your CBR 500R videos. You have a great level of detail, speak clearly, and just so happen to have the exact bike I do which makes it extra easy haha. Keep it up man, this is really valuable even if it's not to a massive amount of people.

Thanks man, i recently bought a 2015 CBR500R and your videos are the best! I’ve watched them ALL despite only having done Chain Maintenance so far.

Coming up to my 8000 mile service soon, ill probably leave it til after winter though, I'll do a cheeky oil change for now. Awesome detailed video man.

An oil change is the most important thing for now anyway. I'm finishing a video on winterizing right now. Should be ready today if all goes well!

How did you get your brake light to blink like that? Love the content. Its helped save me a lot of money and learn a lot
@EndlessMoneyPits Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Glad you find the videos helpful. I installed a brake light flasher module I found on Amazon for about $25. It's a little confusing to program because of the poor instructions but it's highly customizable. Makes me feel a lot safer when riding in traffic. I just added it to the links in the description. Thanks for watching!

Do you still have that master link on your chain? I was going to put one on my cb500. I didn’t know it’s not recommended on the 500cc + bikes.
@EndlessMoneyPits Жыл бұрын
I replaced the chain and sprockets in a more recent video, and used a rivet style master link.

I have the same exact bike and I’m getting a burning smell noticed after riding. I just changed the oil and see no visible signs of any leaks. Any idea on what could be the cause of that issue? Bike only has 5k miles on it
@EndlessMoneyPits6 ай бұрын
You probably got oil on the exhaust pipes while changing the oil filter. It will burn off.

Do you know which scanner can I purchase for that exact model? I dropped my bike like a week ago and the check engine light came on:( I do have a normal car obd2 scanner but I don't know if it can work with just an adapter.
@EndlessMoneyPits4 ай бұрын
From what I've read, you need one that is specific to Honda motorcycles. I don't have one yet so can't recommend anything, but I've seen them on Amazon.

what clutch/brake lever are you using?where to buy them?

I'm not sure. They were on the bike when I bought it.

Any tips for if the key isn’t turning left when pushed down to lock the wheel?
@EndlessMoneyPits6 ай бұрын
Make sure the bars are all the way left and push the key in while turning it. You might have to jiggle the bars a bit. If the key still won't turn you could try some graphite lubricant in the key hole.

Do you change oil every 6000km or every 12000km as the manual suggests? Also do you change oil filter every time you change the oil or one time you do oil filter and oil and the other just replace the oil and keep the same filter?
@EndlessMoneyPits Жыл бұрын
Hi there! The video answers the oil change interval questions in the first 30 seconds. Personally, I don't ride more than a couple thousand miles per year, so I change the oil once every year before putting the bike in storage for winter, and the filter can stay in for up to 16,000 miles but I changed it when I bought the bike and again for this video without putting down a whole lot of miles. Check out my winterization video for more info on storing the bike if you don't ride year-round.

Hey idk if you still have this bike but I'm looking for information on a fork seal rebuild, I can't seem to find the specs sheet for the forks , or any video's as good as your quality please help

Sorry, that is not a project I have done yet.

You can find a pdf service manual online. Budget 4-6 hours if it’s your first time. You’ll need a triple tree front stand too.
