No. This is proof that these men are real men who can do something very hard with excitement and spirit. A spur ride is very hard to complete and takes a lot of physical and mental conditioning to even culminate to a chance at getting those coveted spurs.

Whew. Am not the only one. Been checking out a lot of the Spur Ride videos. So far have seen one good video where skills and teamwork were being applied. Leadership was running it with them. I can stand behind that. Not to piss on anyone’s parade but this feels like something a high school football team would do on a weekend. My unit didn’t do Spur Rides. We were too busy training. Working on developing skills and team building. Am liking the idea of Spur Rides, just not a fan of how locker room it looks and sounds.

Calm down you. They have already been trained this a rite of passage/test they are kept on the move for miles at a time their only breaks at stations like this where they are drilled on basic combat task. This group just got lucky and had instructors that wanted to have a little fun with the 3days-1week of sleepless pain these guys have to endure.
