Watching this video made me cry, because I saw how she was struggling to get to the high notes. Her voice was very raspy, but I have so much respect for her, because she gave her fans the best possible performance she could give. She no longer had the voice like she had when she first sang I'll always love you. I will say this so many singers young and older have sang the song, but no one can never sing it as Whitney did. Although Dolly Parton was the first female singer to sing the song, it became Whitney's song. I have so much ❤️ for Whitney. I will always love & respect her. Rest in peace 🙏.

She wasn’t dying she got murdered she was suffering a lung infection which was hard on her breathing....Whitney agility and sound and tone was always according to he breathing but it was bothered due to her lung infection......Whitney did not want to die.....I love you Whitney...nothing but love...........

I hate seeing people talk about her drug addiction and her singing as something that is together. She did drugs her entire career, by this point she was older,smoking cigarettes and just tired I believe! She wasn't even terrible so why are people so critical? She can't hit the notes but they are her notes and she had been hitting these same high notes for at least 30 years...Cut her some slack guy. RIP Queen Whitney 🙏👑 I will always love you too girl 😙

They wanted her to be perfect. Whitney was almost 47 at this point and had been performing nonstop since 1974. She never had a real break when you think about it. Plus emphysema and the effects of chain smoking since she was 14.

I love how the fans were cheering her on during that dramatic paws before she broke with and I will always love you before the end of the song. That goes to show how much she was loved all over the world, and though I had never got the chance to see her in concert, I pretty much followed her musical journey up until her death. Many said her voice was gone, but actually THE VOICE is still there, all Whitney has to do was to quit smoking and get her heart condition treated, she shouldn't have start any touring , look at her in 2008 fashion rock appearance, she looks fantastic. All she needed was more rest, away from the music industry, get a new vocal coach to train her to sing in a more comfortable and easier way to avoid straining her voice given all her songs are hard to sing. No singer's would lost their voice unless their vocal cord were damaged surgically.

@@melvyncarrot4741 It was never about her voice, it was in perfect condition. The big problem was her lungs, smoking and taking drugs. The damage was done and was irreversible, unfortunately. She had emphysema and when you have that, your singing career is over. There's no turning back. I Love Whitney, May She Rest in Peace 🙏.

Wow, just watched a documentary on her and didn't realize that her voice had deteriorated so much at the end. She wound up cancelling most of this tour due to the fact. This was truly sad to watch. Watch her tour in Moscow 2009 her voice was still good.. and that was December. She also had a lot of good concerts from 2010...It was pretty obvious that she was sick during most of these concerts.

Although she doesn’t have her range from the Late 80’s to the early 00’s. The range she did have during some of these concerts of this tour is still very Decent! True artist learn to adapt to what they have, and learn to work the register. Learning proper placement, Whitney crafted this performance very well! I love me some Whitney Elizabeth Houston!

Whitney's voice was not gone. Just overworked on a tour. Touring is a lot of work on the vocals. And she developed infections in her lungs, and she was bloated from Prednisone. There were nights on the tour where she sounded her old self and some nights she didn't. But hey, she kept on singing no matter what. Aretha went through the same episodes, in the 80's, when she was a smoker. I just didn't understand people's cruelty and excessive judgement. I really didn't.

It was a lot more than overworked on a tour. Her voice was not back 100%. When the vocal coach was working with her she was hoarse. He got her voice back about 85%. He warned she needed to stop smoking and rest the voice. But when there are people expecting you to promote your album and make the $$, what is she gonna do. She should have been resting her vocals.
