She sang this song from her heart. She did not write her songs, but she could sing any song and put her own emotions into the lyrics. Her voice here was not the perfect voice that she had earlier in her career, but she kept it real. She knew how to work round her voice and to use the qualities that her voice had during this era. When she hits the high notes the crowd stil got wild for her and people needs to respect this lady. Yes, she had her demons and so do we all, but she contributed with so much to the world, with her music, her voice and her legendary performances. :)

After watching this so many times I just realized how much the audience was giving her and she was doing her best to give it all back. It so clear her voice was still there as it would constantly “peak” it’s head out. I think the improvement she would have had after stopping smoking cigarettes would have really blown her away. I always love those moments when she would do something that would surprise herself and you could see the joy and she would always look up to God in gratitude. I love this lady and she ALWAYS showed up as she was and gave her all. People can talk about how she sounded but it takes an incredible amount of courage to to step on a stage and say this what I got and never lip sync. I will ALWAYS applaud her for that. With that said, I LOVE her live renditions of ILTY from this tour, and this is one of the favs!

The world was blessed to have the presence of this amazing woman! What a gift, even at her worse she was still the best. Her voice, her passion and love on stage is just beautiful. She was recovering, she could have been completely healed spiritually, emotionally, physically and vocally if she wouldnt have been rubbed from us. She was a gospel singer way before we knew her. She knew who to look to, to get her life back and with that song it feels like she was on that path of finding herself again. I dont think she committed suicide, she went through hell and still managed to keep on moving, why would she wanna die right after the storm had passed? Makes no sense. She was doing her best to be on stage for her fans. Someone took her away from us and left no trace behind. 😭 i still cant believe it! Miss her and love her so much! She will be Forever in my heart. #WillAlwaysLoveYou

I think Whitney was used as a testimony to show that just because you make mistakes and go through struggles doesn't mean that it's over. You just have to keep on fighting. And keep on fighting. She didn't deserve the criticism, but at least she doesn't have to hurt anymore and have the media making fun of her and dealing with drug addiction.

🙏🙏 @ 0:32 secs when the guys yells sing it girl, Whitney gives (throws Vocally) that beautiful inflection back @ em’ ... it still amazes me how she never used ear monitors in her ear like all the others ie: Christina, Mariah, Celine, she relied on pure natural timing and flat footed skills (God Given Realness) to showcase her talent, still talented back by her presence and gift today November 23rd 2019. God I miss her. This is the most moving honest deliver of a song, btw penned by Robert Kelly (Chicago’s finest song writer) I ever witness. She was such a gem 💎. May my Heavenly Father continue to hold her in his arms and bless us all with her legacy and god bless her family! #Tre’ White - Chicago, IL. Be kind to one another y’all. Love is the answer.

This is what the media and the press will never bother to share and acknowledge. Of course her voice changed, but she could still sing so beautifully and even better than the studio version. If you compare this LIVE version of "I look to you", it puts to shame the studio version. Whitney basically took us to church when singing it live. No matter how much her voice changed, she was a master at her craft and the media disrespected her until her very last day on earth.
