8/15/2022 - Session 2 with Duane Blau, PT at Neuro & Brain Performance Centers LLC

** Chris and Valerie have recruited the help from a PT friend specializing in neuro physical therapy. Prior to Chris' accident, Valerie's career was in physical therapy where she worked as a physical therapist assistant (PTA). She left the profession to become a fulltime caregiver to Chris. **
We visited Neuro & Brain Performance Centers in Mesa, Arizona on 8/15/2022 for Chris' second session with Duane Blau, PT. This session started off in the parallel bars where Chris completed sit & stands, then moved into single step placement with weight shifting. From there he moved on to the platform walker and completed 58 feet of walking with minimal rests. Duane gave an assist to the lower legs when Chris' strength started to diminish. Not pictured in the video, but still worth mentioning, Chris transferred via slide board to the leg press and completed about 15 reps at 10 pounds.

He's made quite a leap in the last few months. Must be that cruise life we are doing now. Haha!
