Willow had leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant to survive. Liesel was a match from being a blood relative because Nina was revealed to be Willow's Mother. However, Liesel was kidnapped by Victor Cassadine during the nurse ball last year. Drew, Curtis, and Laura traveled to Greenland where Victor kept Liesel hostage along with Spencer, Trina,Valentin, and Spencer's baby brother Ace. They were able to bring Liesiel back to PC to have the transplant and Willow survives.
