Sonic breaks the all motor world record going 8.60 in a 1/4 miles with his nitro powered 4 Piston engine tuned by Jamie Marsh. Sonic was the first all motor Honda to break into the 8's and now continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with the help of his team.

That was awesome I’m a all motor B series myself. I had a b20 v 84.5 mm springs retainer and pro 2 cam block wouldn’t hold it so now I’m going to a sleeved b18. I’m using it as a daily

In theory yes. The fuel itself is a form of nitrous you can say. But not feed by a bottle. This is why so much controversy was around previous wcf events with fuel.

@@duanebailey6253 It’s not a theory lol VP sells nitro fuel because it’s a fuel. Yes it carries oxygen with it but so do many other race fuels. It’s just the amount of energy nitro can produce his much higher than others which is why you make more hp.

Need the extra gear that can be done with sequential. Almost seems like they handcuff 4th to prevent the shafts from pulling apart. Normally this is done on 5th gear in an h pattern trans. I wouldnt take anything away from the drivers. 8 psi to the front wheels takes big balls and a driver to handle it. Most other cars have auto trans so not sure what you mean.

I’ll assume you’re not very informed in today’s race cars. All top level cars use what is called a strain gauge so they don’t have to clutch, which is what you’re referring to. The big advantage to a sequential is eliminating a possible 1-2-1 shift which can cause a lot of damage.
