At one point, I was in a cutscene at the Appleseed Timber site. While the cutscene was playing, a tree was cut down. When I finished the scene, I noticed the body of my horse. My horse was killed by the falling tree. After that, I got a new horse and named it Timber.

Also worth noting for the last detail that Micah's outfit color scheme is the exact opposite of Arthur's default clothing. Arthur has a blue shirt, black pants, light brown jacket and a black hat, whereas Micah wears a red shirt, light beige pants, black jacket and a white hat. Side by side it's pretty apparent.

+ Micah has a scar on his chin like Arthur, they both have beards, they both have auburn hair, Arthur can get an eye scar from a bear attack and said name can give Micah one. They are also opposite in appearance. Arthur is tall and well built, Micah is short and has a beer belly, Arthur's entire get up is simple but worn because of his self image problems, Micah's entire get up is also simple but more stylish because he's the opposite of Arthur in that category and Arthur has short hair, Micah has long hair. Arthur can take a beating, can take on multiple people at once, can take on a juggernaut and win and can escape a kidnapping and would have beaten Micah in his last fight had Dutch not intervened and the last 2 happened when he was at his weakest. Micah is easily thrown to the ground by Charles, easily knocked down by Javier and can't even kill a dying man. They are also the polar opposite in personality. Arthur is honourable, Micah isn't. Arthur is the strong, silent type while Miah is the small, loud type. AND, Micah has the dark horse from RDR1 while Arthur has a brown horse. Micah Bell is literally Arthur Morgan's evil twin. They different but also so similar.

I don’t think any game in the future will have this kind of detail. It’s a byproduct of passion and 8 years to work on something. They thought of so much. This is my favorite game ever. In 19th century Poland was partitioned between Germany, Austria and Russia (The rise of the USA and fall of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth happened in the same time period, there were some heroes like Pulaski or Kościuszko who fought for American independence and tried to defend Polish). This guy was from Warsaw. While the Russian partition had relatively high authonomy after Napoleon and prospered economically, things got much worse after several failed uprisings and polish population was politically, culturally and economically repressed. So there were several waves of mass emigration to the West, especially the USA and UK. These people lost their homes, most of their life savings. They often had to give up family heirlooms to make for a living in a new country. They made Arthur dirty with these debt collection missions, that's why his later redemption and good deeds hit harder and are more memorable.

@@MW-fr7bx Micah is probably the most misunderstood character. Don't mistake me i'm not saying he's a good guy. But people blindly hate on the character without further analysis for cheap likes. Micah is just like the rest of the gang at least he admits he's a killer and living a life of sin. Every man in the group has killed a bunch of people who didn't deserve a death sentence. He constantly points out how hypocritical it is for a group of outlaws to have a moral code. And the gang doesn't have a moral code! They just pretend they do. All points made by Micah before John or Arthur. Hea racist, misogynistic and annoying but he has a point, why does the gang have women and children this could only end horriblely for them! They weren't made for a life of crime. I know I'm in the minority but I don't think he's the rat either. The only people who tell you he's the rat are Pinkertons (Who actively try to tear the group apart through deals and manipulation), Micah fights off the Pinkertons at every chance he gets, If he did tip off the pinkertons about the bank robbery, why would he participate in the bank robbery? You can even find a letter in chapter 6, showing how the pinkertons track them from camp to camp, they can find Sadies secret letter and they speculate about the next camp location. If there was a rat I think it would be Abigail, she has most reason to want to get out after Jack gets kidnapped, she wants John out of the life for so many good reasons and she was at the bank robbery with Hosea but she escaped while he was captured despite both of them being in the same place! Too bad Abigail killed the one pinkerton who would know everything once she was caught at the end of chapter 6. I'm not fully sold on my own theory, I believe it in Micahs nature to want to constantly survive and his shooting in strawberry seemed like a good cover up. Sorry for the rant but I'm just tired of the "Micah rat durrrrr" in every comment section. The gang would have gone bad reguardless if Micah was there or not, he just sped things up.

One detail i noticed is that all the "good guys" in the camp" (Hosea, Lenny, Sean, John, Susan, Kieran, Trelawny, Sadie) use cattleman revolvers, while the bad guys (Dutch, Micah, Javier, Bill) use double action or schofield revolvers. You can decide which revolver you use because you can choose if Arthur is one of the good guys or one of the Bad guys. Also, if you reach max. honor you get a grip for the cattleman revolver and if you reach min. honor you get a grip for the doube action revolver.

Here’s one for Arthur, when skinning large animals like moose, male elk, and bison, he will elbow it to knock the legs away from the body before cutting. Another for John, in the story Jack invites john to play swords with him, John being Hector and Jack being Achilles. John doesn’t want to play and sounds disgusted. Later on, after Jack’s rescue, John can be found playing swords with Jack. First off, Jack is reading the Iliad, which is nuts for a kid. But the role play has significance. Hector only fights to protect his family and city, Achilles fought for revenge. This would later turn out to be how they end up in RDR1.

For the skinning Gator part, I think it was because game trying to get the corpse into a proper position for skinning animation, sometimes you can also see Arthur ram his shoulder into big corpse like bears or bison before skinning, I don't think thats the way you should do if you tying to check if it still alive.

Also if you check if the gator is still alive by kicking it, you gonna lose your foot if it still alive. Safe way to tell is throw a rock on it.

I thought that this meant they split up but then I noticed there is a grave outside of the house , so that means Sheamus sister died somehow. Another amazing detail I’ve noticed is that when doing the master hunter challenge you have to kill catch an opossum playing possum, the place where you you catch it is the same place Micah gave Arthur a second holster, usually that place is infested by rats 🐀.

Everybody may noticed that the underground make different sounds when you walk on it, but last time i was walking on some rooftops and there was a big pipe and it made an realistic sound for that. I was really impressed by this because even in some places, where you dont need such detail, it actually is.

In the one mission that you need to save Karen in the hotel, if you choke her attacker in the next cutscene she’ll say: “ he only hit me, Arthur did a lot worse to him…” as opposed to her usually saying: “he only hit me, Arthur hit him a lot harder…”

A thought has just occurred to me. What if Micah was an Undercover Agent the WHOLE TIME, and his job was to give Dutch the wrong advice and ideas on purpose to have Dutch start making mistakes?

It's possible he was playing against the gang in a long con the whole time. His little abandoned campsite outside of Strawberry has part of Dutchs wanted poster in it with the $5000 reward on it.

I always felt like this as well. From how the Blackwater heist is described, it seems like the law already knew. It just doesn't make sense to not believe that he's a rat from the start, him suddenly appearing and joining up and then the gang immediately gets pursued by the law. Not to mention that he ends up being in jail in Strawberry for a really long time, even for committing a murder, which was usually a hanging offense

The way that Micah comes out of the shadows when you’re first introduced in the game kinda gives it away that he is the villian. I personally think it would have been cool if once the gang caved in, that Arthur and Micah would have partnered up and developed an unlikely friendship.

I’ve been using the Miner’s Hat recently, including during a number of story cutscenes. The Miner’s Hat is interesting because its light is quite directional so you can tell where Arthur is looking, including in cutscenes, and even in shots in cutscenes where Arthur isn’t visible. During a Bridge to Nowhere, there is a scene where Arthur is talking but the shot shows only John for that moment, yet you can see with the Miner’s hat that Arthur’s head is moving, even though he isn’t visible at all.

I honestly don't know if everyone is well aware of this not, but I know Arthur's dialogue changes when he has lower honor. That part I think most of us know, but it was interesting when I was trying to see what all changed. I had lower honor during the mission Arthur goes fishing with Jack. When Arthur asks why he needs to do this, instead of Abigail saying Jack likes him, she instead says "Because you do what you say" and I don't think she mentions that John is useless. I just thought that was interesting small change in dialogue. Always, love your videos, Strange Man!

that's what Milton says but he could be lying, if you remember the ferry job in blackwater was micah's idea and Javier during the prologue says that there were Pinkertons all of a sudden, then he massacres all the law in strawberry with Arthur and surely that would bring the law to investigate, he also suggests they should set up camp in dewberry creek which was a very open space and bad to defend, in chapter 3 he encourages Dutch to meet with colm and colm's plan was to capture arthur to bring the gang there and the law would be waiting for them, and in ch4 hosea gets captured in the Saint denis robbery and the local law didn't capture him it was the Pinkertons.

@sparkie squarer it’s my headcanon that Micah was always a rat. He set up the ferry job so he could run off with the money in the chaos. Afterwards he does a lot of butt kissing with Dutch. Personally, he wasn’t openly working with the Pinkertons until after Guarma. He realized Dutch wasn’t going anywhere and he needed to jump ship as soon as possible. Then he gets with Ross and Milton, planning out ways to get Dutch captured, as you so eloquently pointed out.

I dunno if anyone knows this or not but I just randomly found this out while fishing: starting with your left stick pushed all the way up, u can hook fish by pulling down with your left stick rather than just pressing RT, and if you are trying to catch a certain fish and another unwanted fish bites/nibbles at your bait, you can just simply not hook the fish and the fish will leave, thus allowing for another chance of your desired fish to bite (I'm not sure If this will be the same with all fish)

Happened to come across the Downes Ranch only a few days after you attacked (even before you must leave Valentine). Either it is a glitch, or it was already sold literally a day or two after. The same goes for Wrobel. At least there is someone else on his property, but I guess this was more of a glitch than anything else

I think that this is because of how they are quest NPC's, and the game can't take into account you killing them, so they are simply replaced by generic NPC's until you are supposed to see them.
