People don’t realize that they shouldn’t only consider the apparent physical damage, like the screen and back glass. The device has internal boards interconnected by soldering, among other things, which detach or degrade internally over time and with recurring damage. Even though it may not be broken externally, its internal components start to fail.

I would recommend ESR for an affordable clear case. Strong magnets and haven’t had any issues with yellowing.

I’m still confused with the Apple silicon cases. I’ve literally been buying a yellow one every year since they came out. I’ve never ever had this pocket issue or lint issue that I’m always hearing about. I love the case does not retain dirt or the oils in your skin so it stays looking new. Those first cases you showed are the first cases I’ve seen that I would actually consider.

AULUMU was so lazy for the cutout on the 16. It was a serious disappointment, I was hoping they’d at the very least do the cutout everyone one else is doing. Their prior cases for previous gen iPhones are perfect though.

@@excessorizeme Supcase did a great job with their capacitive button implementation I’m positive AULUMU could’ve as well, but they decided to just rip a piece of the case off. A regular cutout would have been fine. They weren’t even trying to catch up they just straight up screwed up the case. I love your videos though!

A cutout for the camera button is not a protective case. I bought the Apple silicone with a cover over the button. Also, I bought the Spigen Ultra hybrid T, or something like that, and it has a cover for the camera button and is very protective.

Smartish Gripzilla has been my favorite 16 Pro case so far! Still waiting on my beloved Suti PhoneBacks to ship, as those are my all-time favorite "cases". Nomad's version just looks..cheap? The gap up top is unattractive and just asking to get caught on something and pulled off. Got a dbrand Grip again but tbh, I wish I would've saved the $60 and got the Smartish Gripzilla first. That A16 Aramid Fiber case reminds me a lot of the Phone Rebel Flex, but mixed with a Pitaka! Very cool.

Here we go again. Apple released a new iPhone Pro which it's just a little bigger or a little smaller than the previous model. Just enough to force everybody to buy a new case. And Apple claims to be committed to protect the planet! I don't think so. New cases mean more plastic, more trucks 🚚 in the road, paper packages 📦 etc. And then there is the person who pays extra for an iPhone Pro because he/she is very likely to use it as a working tool . This way, that customer is likely to use cages such as the Beastgrip cage so he/she will have to buy a new cage... More plastic, more metal, more trucks 🚚 in the road, paper packages 📦 etc. iPhone 14 Pro 147.5 mm x 71.5 mm x 7.85 mm iPhone 15 Pro 146.6 mm x 70.6 mm x 8.25 mm iPhone 16 Pro 149.6 mm x 71.5 mm x 8.25 mm I have iPhone 14 Pro. I was up for an upgrade so I've just ordered an iPhone 16 Pro. I will sell my 14 Pro and will use the money to buy a new Beastgrip cage, a. new Smallrig cage (the small one) , a new charger (this change to USB C is such a nuisance!) and lots of new cables. I hope I will be able to sell my two cages for iPhone 14 Pro otherwise it will be a waste of material. But, unlike Apple, I don't like to see waste and will never be part of it if I can help. So , if I can't sell the cages I have then II will give them to someone despite the fact that work has been very slow this year to say the least and I can't afford to be Santa Claus. 🎅 I think one important thing is missing from this and other reviews ( I will post this comment in several reviews) about the best case for iPhone 16 Pro: How easy is to remove the phone from the case. I guess that many people who get an iPhone Pro instead of a regular iPhone do so because they want to use the phone for more serious shooting so they are likely to use cages . You can use the phone with its case on some cages but I do believe the very best cage is the one from Beastgrip and you need to remove the phone from its case. Besides, if you use the case from Sandmarc, for example, your phone will have little protection as their case is rubbish. I don't know about you but this is such an expensive phone that it needs serious protection. The stronger case out there is the UAG. They have a case made of Kevlar which is by far stronger than any other case in the market. I had the case. I sent it back for a full refund because it was so extremely difficult to put the phone in the case and even more difficult to remove it. The case should have a warning: For weightlifters 🏋 only. I tried about ten different cases and then I found what I think it was the perfect case for my iPhone 14 Pro: Beeasy with "Unique locked rotating shaft & 4-snaps design, easy to install and remove your iPhone 14 Pro within seconds". It's very strong and probably more protective than all cases in this review. It has by far the easiest , most user friendly system to put your phone in and out of a case. You unlock the case, lifts its front and put the phone in or remove it. A piece of cake! 🍰 Sadly, it seems that they won't be making that case anymore. I guess the reason is because people like slim cases and the Beeasy is quite bulky and heavy. I liked it the way it is. Obviously, I am in the minority. Again... They have a similar case which use screws. It's very good as long as you plan to never remove your phone from the case...There are so many different cases in the market. I don't know why nobody is doing a case which is really protective but at the same time makes it easy to remove the phone from it (and to put the phone). A case such as the now non existent Beeasy with its lock system. Seeing I can't buy that case anymore then it looks like I will need to do the same I did before: Buy several cases from Amazon, chose the best one and send the other cases back. But this time I think I will make a review. So I am not just criticising. Anyway, I am sure this review was a lot of work. Thank you for sharing 🤝 !
