@@lizhappybeans I have been drinking espresso since the mid 80's. My wife and I were dropping 10.00 a day at a local espresso bar. Back then that was a car payment. So I bought a quality machine and a grinder and have had commerical equipment ever since. Pays for itself. I now live in Olympia and get my beans @ Dancing Goats. A local roaster. The name comes from the origin of coffee. It is said that farmers in Africa would see how wired the goats got from eating coffee beans. Alas Dancing Goats. Love Vancouver btw. Phenomenal city,

Thanks for sharing! It’s so lovely to get to know other people’s experiences with coffee. Coffee has an incredible power of transformation and unites people in so many ways! I stopped at Olympia and tried Olympia Coffee on my way to Portland for the Specialty Coffee Association Expo last year. It was a great experience! I’m gonna have to try Dancing Goats next time I’m around!!

@@lizhappybeans I just got into specialty coffee about 18 months ago, so visits to Seattle from my home in Kelowna, have always been about the beer. Looking forward to my next visit to make it all about the coffee!!
