This is an amazing arrangement! This can be used for plenty of my study habits. Having instrumental's helps the brain focus more when doing work than songs with lyrics, overall i'm very amazed and i can't believe i haven't found this sooner!!

Love this song. This arrangement is actually pretty kickass-- I would have loved to hear this song on an NES. Especially the beginning-- it sounds like it could easily be the title screen to a fairly awesome adventure game or platformer.

@00mattinator00 I understood that hundreds of comments ago, and explained why I didn't change it, but the difference is if people flame me for having a misleading title complaining that it's not faithfully 8-bit, those are the people who look for 8-bit remixes not to ENJOY THE MUSIC but solely to listen to it BECAUSE it's 8-bit. But hey, I shouldn't rue over this since I made the point so many times before XD I'm just glad that a huge majority enjoy it as it is like you, so thanks :)

I'll be honest, some 8bit consoles still had an fm synthesis chip. The Japanese Sega Master System for instance did. Also the 'vocal' sound used sounds like a regular waveform with some vibrato plugged over it. Not necessarily possible with an actual computer's chipsets, but still possible nonetheless. The same with the echoing. Still sounds largely 8 bit to me though, enough that I don't mind at all, and it still sounds great :D

i made a comment on this video back in 2011 about how this sounds like K.K. Slider. Sadly after deleting that account due to so much fuckin hate mail, I couldnt find this video. I'm happy that I've found it again. For the longest time, I listened to this at least once a day, because it made me happy. Now that I'm 18, I've learnt just how shitty the world can be and now when I'm feeling especially sad, I just turn this on and for just a second or two, i remember how positive everything was to me.... sorry for dragging this out whoops

@LEAFXCEED To answer an old thought - the reason people relte this to Pokemon is because the older games audio sounded exactly like this in towns and such; slower melodies with the 8bit sound. Newer games still sound very similar, just not in 8-bit. As an old time fan, I can definitely appreciate the similarity xD! Nice job on the song!

I was just pointing it out because most 8-bit versions on here are just the guitar pro files converted. Few people take the time to specifically edit the whole thing to make it sound good in 8-bit ^^

@Traslogan ...technically, 240p is just the resolution of the video and only decreases the quality down greatly, but still retains the reverb/delay and other advanced effects, not enough to make it "true 8 bit" But in a non technical sense, you could always say. CLOSE ENOUGH XD

@simontec 8bit is never to complicated, its only 8 bit if only up to 4 streams are played at the same time, so its never to complicated it just goes 16 bit.

@TheHomestuck Not much, but ultimately Chiptune takes the old-school sound bytes and remixes them, mixing them in with other sounds, some modern, some not. Whereas 8-bit is created with the old school midi instruments, and you can really only have so many different "instruments" going on at the same time. They do sound similar though.
