Liberalism is a Cult Calling a liberal a bigot is wrong in so many ways. Liberals tend to be open minded and accepting of most everyone, the exact opposite of being a bigot. Conservatives, on the other hand, tend to be closed minded and not accepting of people who are different, the exact definition of being a bigot.

smartroadbiker An idea I would consider would be perhaps trading it off to other tech youtubers to do videos on. It'd be complicated logistically, but it'd benefit the smaller channels and create a stronger unity between the tech youtubers, and make youtube tech videos better across the board.

AHHHH!!! My eyes lit up at about the 3:15 mark! My second computer, when I turned five in 1986, was a Color Computer 2! The keyboard eventually failed and was replaced with a Color Computer 3 keyboard. In 1990 or 1991, I acquired the "Direct Connect Modem Pak" which introduced me to the world of BBSes, all at a GLORIOUS 300 baud! From there, I eventually received a hand-me-down Amstrad PC1512DD to which I had added a 40 meg hard card and a Media Vision ThunderBoard. When I got the computer it had a 1200 baud modem, but I replaced it with a 2400. That baby had three expansion slots, and I kept all three of them full! I wish I still had all of this old hardware, but it all got tossed away years ago. It hurts my heart! I love your videos, man!

I think the folks complaining about the unboxing videos seem to think David's actually approaching them like a video project, ie he's actually taking time out of his monthly schedule to produce them, when it's more of a passive project that David does as stuff comes in. I generally HATE unboxing videos, but these are fun for a couple of reasons. For one, I might go google something that you unpacked (I have a window open looking at the 1551 right now, for example); the other is that they work as teases for future content. I can't wait to see some of this in action. Some people can't quite understand that you'd have to be taking these things out of boxes anyway.. .setting up a camera doesn't take that much more time. I don't understand some people-- they're probably mad that you eat and sleep, too :D
@bobbytables4646 жыл бұрын
David, I support you on Patreon and I don't expect anything in return except you making videos you want to make. And the little bit of vicarious joy I get from my little contribution helping you do something you love full time. I happen to like the unboxing videos, it's a nice way to unwind once a month. If you're doing something new and I don't enjoy some aspect of it, I might mention it once, politely. But please keep making videos you enjoy making and know that most of us appreciate it. The people saying "don't make X, make Y instead" really don't seem to understand that the thing which makes KZbin channels like this (and Techmoan, LGR, etc) special is that the creators enjoy what they're doing. Turning it into focus grouped view-chasing content just turns it into traditional TV. Sure, give feedback, but if they've made a specific type of video more than 3 times, they clearly enjoy doing it, so your bargaining just amounts to unnecessary griping.

First time I've watched your unboxing vid... I say keep it going, thanks! It's so cool to see the gear come in and I think it respects those that spent time & money sending items into you.

DO NOT stop doing unboxings as they are a treat to watch. Keep it up. Will you ever sell dvd's or better yet a VHS of your content? :)

I like these videos because you sometimes see things that you didn't know exist, like that double sided cartridge. Screw the haters, keep making them.
