The original lead singer of the Temptations was not Eddie or David it was Paul Williams, and Paul was Eddie's best friend from childhood and he was unhappy with David replacing Paul. You say the guy who said Eddie and David had sex, was unreliable yet you quote him like he was the Pope. There are only two people who know what happened Eddie and David and it is no one else's damn business. What if they did what you say, does that suddenly ruin their music? No it doesn't. Eddie basically smoked himself to death, and David was super heavy into drugs. Paul was an alcoholic in part to help deal with the pain of Sickle cell disease, and may or may not have took his own life. Melvin "Blue" Franklin filled his body with as much Cortisone as it could stand, to alleviate the pain of Arthritis, which caused him later to take Oxygen wherever he went, which caused him to be unable to handle infection. Otis just kept doing what he could to keep the Temps going. Four of the Original 5 are gone, their pain and traumas and messy lives are in the past along with the best music anyone ever laid down, created by 5 Super Talented guys ( 7 if you include Mr. Gordy and Smokey Robinson who wrote their songs). Is it really necessary to drudge up their problems, and weaknesses? Isn't it enough to just appreciate their music. I bet if you look down you would see you too have feat of clay. I know I do. So unless you took a stroll across a lake lately, can you please just talk about their music, and stop relying unreliable sources?
