Last weeks playing on console have been a mess, during one of my matches one of my friends got removed from the match by a server error and then was replaced by a random player after the match started, and the rest of them have been continuous server errors and bans afterwards

That bit at 21:19 really hit home for me. I played Siege hard for a few years, and I only ever played casual, and I wasn't anything amazing at it. But like you said, I was having fun with it. Until it got so bad from a technical standpoint that I was no longer having fun. I can generally have fun in a game even if I'm bad at it, in part because it makes it even more awesome when I actually do WELL.

21:20 I've been playing since Operation Skull Rain. I stayed away from ranked (due to rank anxiety since I was doing only solo) for a really long time (2 years or so) back in the days, opting for casual play and enjoying myself. With Wind Bastion, I decided to check where my placement matches would take me. If I got a low gold placement, I just wouldn't risk deranking to Silver so I'd stop playing. If I got high silver, I'd play enough to get into low gold then stop playing ranked. And If I got a mid or high gold rank, I'd play till I derank to the lowest gold rank. Since I solo queued, I often found myself in low gold. Rarely, if placement matches went exceptionally well, I'd reach low plat rank (that's ranked 1.0 plat, mind you). So, fast forward to today. Ranked 2.0 sucks, I have to start from copper and grind my way to Emerald (I mean if I can be an Emerald, anyone can; but I refuse to be one). I'm consistently getting placed in matches with and against champions. Bunch of cheaters, and unfair matchmaking(solo queueing and made up grind ranks). I don't enjoy it, but I still play it; mainly because of sunk cost fallacy(3000+ hours). Though I find myself playing quickmatch and arcade nowadays. :S

My guess is that, while they are running into the wall they're hitbox is in the wall including the gun so they are able to shoot through the walls or ground, so with Azami it's basically a portable wall and since it's attached to the rest of the map it just gives her more room to get shots off without being killed by the others.

IDK if it works the same in r6 but there is a way in some other games to negate a lot if not all vertical recoil by strafing while firing. That could be why his shots in match 6 had so little recoil.

Got banned yesterday because the server thought it connected me to a game, tried reconnecting me to the nonexistant game after I got a server connection error, and then gave me another connection error and an abandon penalty. Siege is skiing down a quality slope.

Solo Queuing I've had a terrible experience due to cheaters. It's unironically every 3rd match has a cheater or someone myself and a teammate are suspicious of. Queuing with a friend or more lets us play another match or so before we find a cheater or suspicious person. I don't like playing games with the mentality of hoping there's not a cheater or already half assuming someone is cheating because they're doing good (2.0kd+ in match).

I miss the old days where the cheaters had goofy cheats. I saw a video on hereford where a maestro teleported to the top of the map and spin and aim botted everyone. There was another one where a Doc would teleport to enemy players when he mantled.

I'm terrible at the game, took me 6 years to get to a consistent 1-1.2kd and I'm still hard stuck bronze/silver, but even though my audio is at "normal" levels, I'm really good at audio calls. I can picture things insanely well, I can hear a noise and if I'm familiar with the area I'm in I can picture the exact environment and what's going on it's wild, like daredevil's weird echolocation sight shit. Same goes for siege. In some situations I can just zone in and picture exactly where people are if there's clear enough audio. A lot of the time it's inaccurate cause Ubi, but when Siege's audio is close enough to where I can use this strange picturing thing in my brain I can basically get soft walls with just brain power. As my skill level dictates however, it's definitely a rarity that it's successful. But once in a blue moon I can absolutely dunk on everyone and predict their every move. I wish siege had more consistent audio cause I'd be insane (minus my terrible aim, it's dreadful) Basically, if I was better at the game I'd be the ultimate sound whore. It's crazy, someone could literally make the tiniest sound, but if I'm close enough to them you bet your ass I'm tracking their every move from that point on without having to see them

I honestly think Ubisoft needs to redo the game from scratch: rewrite the code and redo everything. This is because the game is from 2015, the code is old, the engine is old. Like CSGO, the game is almost the same on the outside, but on the inside it is completely new.
