Japan throughout the 80s was a wild place, with incomprehensible wealth and fortune. Through the inflation of a bubble in property and stock prices, Japan seemed to be approaching global dominance. And though the whirlwind period at the end of the decade has largely faded from public consciousness, a brief look back at the height of the bubble illustrates just how crazy things really got.
