Hi! Good stuff! Do you have any cool idea for this situation: 1. e4 c5 2. d4 cxd4 3. c3 dxc3 4. Nxc3 e6 5. Bc4 Nc6 ?

It would be really nice of U, if U can include a pgn file for download, so we can study over the board.

In trap 7, after White checks with the Bishop, Black can block with the Knight that is on on e5. What is the best response for White? Pawn to e6?
@ChessGeek1
@ChessGeek1 2 жыл бұрын
Good Question. (I assume you mean Black blocks with the knight on f6!). e6 looks really good. After fxe6 Qh5+ g6 and Qe5, white can win back the pawn on e6 (with an attck on the rook), then white can win the pawn on d5 with the knight, and the position looks really good!

Thank you. Yes, I did mean f6!

In the variant with Bb5+ why don't they simply move to d7 the knight thst was attacked by the pawn, from f6?

Lol Stockfish thinks the third trap is only +.7 for white. But that's with perfect play ig.

What's the best way to avoid trap #1? H3 instead of Qe2?
@ChessGeek1
@ChessGeek1 2 жыл бұрын
H3 is fine, a little passive though. Nb5 instead of qe2 is good as you also control the d4 square, and after qb8 then e5, ng4 and bf4 will lock up the queens diagonal and give you solid control in the center and no good attacks from black. But, a simpler option which would reduce any threats the entire game is h3, so both are fine, its just nb5 is more aggressive.

Rook e1 is also a good move. This way you control the d file with the queen. So no nd4 for black
