You can't take something away without replacing it with something. Fill the void with hobbies, friends, meetings, whatever healthy activities work for you. Even if the joy isn't there when doing them, power through and invite a sober friend or family member to go with you. It will get better.

Let go of feeling bored. Just be... Listen to Ram Das talking. It has helped change my perception of addiction. Remember to be proud of yourself too. All is well.

What worked for me: Keep yourself busy, I started resistancer training, also I mountain bike, and I am in to cars, so always have something to do. Also, surround yourself with the right people, cut out people who are enablers or who you may have the temptaition to use again with. Block any phone numbers for dealers or people who you used with or just delete them all together in a way where it is impossible to find them again. These things can all help.

Was addicted to spice for months. When i decided to give it up i had crazy withdrawal; no sleep or eat for days, intense cravings, extreme aniexty and depression. Took me months to feel somewhat myself again. What helped me is going the gym daily, eat only healthy food and sleep for 8-9 hours. Almost 9 months clean now from spice/k2 💪🏼

"Finding the Root Cause" when all of those other things are going on and you've been trying so hard with every ounce of your already exhausted energy for probably years, is so difficult. You really want to give up sometimes

First off I love all your videos Kruggs, a huge fan of soberdogs. I think a lot what’s covered in this video is also useful to those who’s never tried drugs and struggling with life in general. From anxiety to simple habit of procrastination, I think people can use a lot of technique mentioned in this vid.

This is my problem. I want to get clean. I can get suboxone, or deal with withdrawals. But I don't know what to do with my time. I don't have any friends, I don't know how to make sober friends. I've tried bumble BFF with no luck. Idk what to do

Going to NA meetings is gonna make you bond with people just like you and sooner or later you'll make friends and hang out clean and sober.

That's true the starburst Theory I recently think I had a minor heart attack due to energy drinks and that's because I drink two or three a day which is 2 to 600 mg of caffeine I've been struggling past couple days since I stopped
