Great video! Another cool fact (which I don't think I've heard in the video) is that the main time signature of each song is mathematically growing in order in the same octave concept: The Root of All Evil, Time signature 1/8. The Answer Lies Within, Time signature 2/8. These Walls, Time signature 3/8. I Walk Beside You, Time signature 4/8. Panic Attack ), Time signature 5/8. Never Enough, Time signature 6/8. Sacrificed Sons, Time signature 7/8. Octavarium, Time signature 8/8.

Another tie-in to the fade in and fade out being the same on this album is the last line of Octavarium: "The story ends where it began". Also, if you look at the CD itself, it has an octagon with a star inside of it. The octagon represents the 8 whole tones in an octave while the star represents the 5 semitones in an octave.

Reminds me of what Pink Floyd did on The Wall: "Isn't this where we came in?" As a kid, the "we came in" part at the beginning of disc 1 used to annoy me so much, because I thought it's a recording/mixing mistake of some sort and since I never liked the song Outside The Wall at the end of disc 2 much as a kid, I used to always skip it, until I grew up and decided I HAVE to listen to it, whether I like it or not, because it's part of the story and the musical journey and thát's when I discovered the second "mistake": "Isn't this where", so I finally connected the dots and went like: DAMN GENIUSES!!! :O

@@ZackSeifMusic Yeah and that line's very much true as well: after you destroyed your wall and get exposed to everything you built your wall for in the fist place, you start uilding it up again, brick by brick. Roger Waters might be a bit of a mental case these days, but he's a very smart bloke nevertheless. :)

I rather expected some deeper facts. The everything from this video I knew before. You even didn't find out some more additional stuff hidden deeper in the song: 1. The Root of All Evil is a part of Twelve Step Suite (the song also has 3 part) - a long song story of getting out of alcoholism which start with The Glass Prison and ends with The Shattered Fortress. 2. The Octavarium song also contains all songs from the album to played from playback while the vocalist screams. 3. The Octavarium song also contains a part where there are sung titles of the band members' favorite songs. Also the instrumental includes Jingle Bells jingle.
