We are in tears how many people and big trucks it took to get this tiny, scared little baby, but we are unbelievably grateful (you can tell by our tears!) This kitten's name is Hook and Ladder! Several years ago when we were fostering kittens for the Humane Society, my husband happened to leave the foster room door open. One of the kittens crawled far into our underground drain tile pipe. We didn't know what to do. We called the fire department since we've seen wonderful videos like this. Well they said they would not help and didn't even offer info as who we could call for help. The poor thing was in them pipe crying for hours while my husband was yanking his hair out. Finally after trying all kinds of trades we found a drain pipe company who came out and worked for several hours to rescue the little fur ball. When the owner found out we were volunteers they wouldn't even charge us money!!!! Now these are amazing folks. As for the firemen helping, we only hear tell that they do!
