Weird these Canadian flags seen in the comments. Canada is not better than any other aggressor, still killing their own first nations. I'm Canadian without any pride about it. This massacre is such a shame for mankind, one more in history, and Canada stands with the USA. It's amazing to realize how much Israel seems to be in charge in Washington DC. I have to say this is the worse time of my life and I see no end to the terrible genocide and terror being perpetrated on the Gazan people. I said to my husband only today that the difference between the holocaust and what is happening now is that we’re seeing the crimes daily on alternative media whereas during the Second World War it was mainly hidden and the majority of people knew nothing of the horrors. I can’t understand how the rest of the world looks on and does nothing to help the innocents being slaughtered. It’s diabolical. Thank you for this conversation between two good men.

hello from palestine west bank , i appreciate your work and your attempts. often times it makes me bitter to see people talk about their pain or trauma when they are sitting in their comfortable areas. although i understand what kind of trauma you both are talking about with my brain, deep in my heart i feel mocked for calling what you are going through "trauma" but then i look at gaza, and i look inwards into my own soul. and as i walk the streets of the west bank i often start seeing buildings fall down on people, it's all in my imagination but i knwo it's just my voice deep inside telling me that we are next. but when i connect my trauma of what the future would look like to me and compare it to the trauma that gaza is going through i start to understand and connect with people like you both. i start to understand that there is a certain line of which once you cross, any trauma is untolerable. in that sense i appreciate you both, and i thank you for every word. practically nothing will ever stop this new norm except when people stand up against taxes, in this world and age, money talks and as long as the average person is paying his/her/there taxes the few ruling class people will find it justified to continue killing.

All rational people understand what is going on in your region and are in horror of what is happening. Unfortunately, it seems that all our power in our so called Democracies, if one can still call them that, has been taken from us and we have slowly slipped into a dystopian and rather fascist system that neither has any respect for the people that has put their representatives in charge, nor are even willing to listen to the rule of law and decency. All they are interested in is money and power. In short, they are completely corrupt. I wished that those people with said rational minds would all come together and finally topple such shameless outlaws from their seats of power, replacing them with more open minded and wise people, but alas, until now I don't see anything like this happening and I really wonder why. What are we afraid of? We, living in the Western world have fought for centuries to get rid of despots, tyrants and dictators to earn the right to be in charge and decide our own destinies freely. Why are we stopping right now? It is beyond me. I simply do not understand this. Was the blood shed by our forefathers not enough to appease the thirst for blood of further monsters? Perhaps it is also our own fault, believing that freedom is just granted by others, instead of constantly fighting for it day by day. We, as a people have become weak and victims of our misguided belief that our system would continue to work by inertia. It did not, and now we see the results. But be reassured, the wheel of time always continues to turn, and as the sun shines and sets everyday, things will eventually change anyway. I only hope it won't be too late for us, decent people of the world, to see yet another shining dawn on the horizon, filled with wisdom and decency for all.

It’s talks like these that are able to bring me some small level of comfort and hope, and pull me out of that enraged and dejected stupor that I find myself in. We live in a dystopian nightmare, I used to go onto tiktok to see funny videos, now I just see victims of a holocaust, trying their hardest to charge their phones by any means because a charged phone is so integral to their daily life- to ask people online for help. We are seeing the holocaust from the perspective of the victims. Little babies learning English to tell us in the west what they are going through. Whether a family eats is determined by how many shares they get on the internet. This along with the callousness of the very people that these victims look to for help. Their ability to make jokes, laugh, display their complete apathy to these people. It’s a new kind of sadism. This is really up there as one of the greatest crimes against humanity and there are so many parallels as well as differences with the Nazi holocaust.

Personally, I want to say that through the heartbreak, rage, confusion and anger, I now feel I want to do something, take some action for the long term. This will not help Palestine today, but if more of us make changes, we can stop another 'Palestine' tomorrow. The warning is already here, and none of us are useless. my sympathies are there in South Africa with you... the things the Boers and Afrikaners are suffering through is, in a way, *worse* than what's happening in Gaza. it's far more insidious, because it's not done by the military. it's free-roaming Africans that have been brainwashed by Jewish-controlled Communist agitators that are doing it. and in their minds they absolve the guilt of it because they're doing it by proxy.

Trauma begets more trauma, from the victimizer and victim, and gets replicated since they are not addressing the core issue of their sense of insecurity. You cannot imprison a people and expect them to act like normal people at all times, and this doese not condone acts of terror or crimes for those actions on both sides. Love that you have Mr. Mate on, he is so clear-sighted. I admire him.
@calicocat82132 ай бұрын
If you believe the Zionist Project carries the trauma of the Holocaust you are fundamentally mistaken. The weaponization of what most Jews (by "Jews" I do not mean those residing in or fighting alongside the "Only Democracy in the Middle East") know as Shoah has only started quite late, after the trial of Eichmann (in 1961) and gradually, accelerating after 1973, and was and remains calculated and cynical.

This trauma is now so so bad that it is seriously affecting people who are not even victims ... living thousands of miles away and who have beds to sleep in ... and food to eat. Now, I am not even beginning to compare myself to what the victims are going through ... however, my heart is broken ... truly broken ... and it hurts severely to see people treated in this way ...

Grateful to be able listen to wise curious souls talking about everything that happens. We are in troubled times, but many are waking up to truth on many levels. There is a lot to take in everywhere we look ! We must overcome these old ways, share and forgive to move on with intelligence and understanding. Nothing will be solved without the heart of compassion for others seen as part of ourselfes. When I see and listen to it all that last many years, I feel the suffering there is because of lack of understanding and wisdom. Gabor is here to help us grow in deeper perspective. We go through much taking it all in,while learning and understanding better, but we must stand strong and become wiser for there to be a more peaceful place for all to live together. So many labels, fear and ideas comes from the past mind, dividing all, instead of being open and sharing.

It was horrifying to me of course but I am thankful that he did. It has made me aware and sensitive to the Colonial brutalisation of Indigenous peoples. The horror of the ADF ongong attacks in Gaza and Palestinians does, as Gabor says, does make many of us feel helpless. When we in Australia learnt about the killing of Australian Aid Workers attempting to deliver food and other aid to Gazan people by ADF airstrikes brought this tragedy even more close to home.
