Hi, I weigh a set of Axe Condor, K-Flex and regular stems with flights. Actually, Condors and K-flex were lighter than traditional shafts and flight. So they must be using heavier material in these Japanese ones.

As always I enjoy watching your videos always straight up about reviews never tried to sugar coat anything I remember about 4 years ago you did a review on red dragon javelins and I really liked how they look so I got a set up till this date I still throw a red dragon javelins but I have the spectrum at 21 grams amazing set where I live we don't have much dart shops so I just watch your reviews and I would order what I think would be good for me so please keep doing what you do.forgot to mention I just ordered a couple sets of the 8 flight system

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it! That's the one thing that I think separates my channel from other dart channels. I always say what I really think and don't have to try and kiss a** of the companies I'm reviewing. Other channels will get sent free products and when you watch their videos it's pretty much just a commercial. The more positive things they say = the more free stuff coming their way. None of that crap here 👍🏻

Target secured the distribution rights for 8-flight system in 2019 which probably explains the target packaging. I find they scuff up really easily, but last way longer than the older paper/rubber feel ones.

Great review on what looks like a nice product. I must admit when I saw the title of this video I immediately remembered the previous video you did which was not favorable. I think those flights were white in that video and I believe they even ripped on you. These new 8 Flights look exactly like the most recent moulded flights that have come out in the past year. The colors are much nicer and they seem much more durable. Time will tell now if the bottom edge of the flights get damaged by not being able to pop off. Honestly I don’t have many issues with flights popping off mainly because I use punched flights with stem rings.

Have a few of these setups now, held off originally from your old vids, but my first Rising Sun barrels came with them & I heard they were different as well. I grabbed a few back-ups with other sets & a lot of the Target Japan barrels come with them, so that's a plus.

Nice video`s man, i been trying some stuff you showed in the video`s, but honestly i`m just a amateur player, i was just wondering, if you can hit bulls and treble 20`s that easy with any dart, why not compete ? You seem to have skill, (compered to me at least)

Thanks! I've mentioned this in other videos but the very first time I played outside of my house I went to a huge tourney here in the USA to watch the professionals play. I ended up winning an entry into the pro singles and was one of the highest placing American players inside the top 32. Phil Taylor won... i.ibb.co/vYvDFbj/JHuukx-T-1.jpg I ended up winning a state title (steel tip) a couple years later and then I tried my luck at a soft tip Bullshooter event. It was the first time playing at a Bullshooter tourney and I won the singles, doubles and 2nd in the triples... i.ibb.co/5xs2hBZ/20240318-171109.jpg Won a bunch of other stuff, a couple state titles in a different state but now it's just KZbin. I do really well here on YT and make more than I ever could playing.

Great video wwd , I have tried these a while back and just like 75% of American darters I tried the spinning version after a best 2 out of three match they were rattling up and down the threads secure it yes but the movement upon aiming the dart definetly effects your throw .... should've tried the locked version

An update on how things have been going...I got too sets of Target K Flex 6 in medium - longest length - I also got some Luke Littler G1s from Target in 23g today. I threw quite a long time with The Nuke G1s with 35mm Nano Swiss points. So far the best flights I have for them are spinning Cosmos ones. I'm not 100% happy I want some Condor 120s long and medium I think their measurements are. However... I put those K Flex's on my Nathan Aspinall G2s 26g and the first throw I had was a 180. I also went around the doubles which I do a lot, I always finish 20, 25 and Bull. Mainly because it's good to practise your 25s as well. On going for the Bull at the end I put all three darts in. Now consider, that's the 1st time I've thrown them in that setup. and, that's only the 3rd triple Bull I've ever had. I then picked them up a little later and the 1st dart was a treble 20. I got a rush of blood and hit an 80 some but very quickly had two in the treble for a 120 something and then hit a 140. So... Maybe finally I have found my set and my setup.. Been a while and it's been emotional but there seems to be some good things happening. I think those tri flights will go with some of the others but depending on how the Aspinall setup goes I might have to be careful what I do so I don't mess that one up. I've been furious with myself recently berating myself saying, you know where the treble 20 is - because I've thrown that long. Today I found it. Now we have to be careful... But let's hope. 🙂

@@WorldwideDarts No worries. I like it when I see you click with a set of darts. 🙂I think when you've been through the mill you kind of empathize. Just been around the doubles again and there were a lot of 1st dart doubles. I'm throwing some rubbish as well, for instance I messed about on the Bull but when I found it I put two in and one in the 25. So I need to find and manage a practice regime and see where it goes. I also need to find a game as I do throw different when playing someone. Signs are still good though.

I tried these in comparison and they didnt last long. Grouping would be a problem because it caused multiple breaks in my flights. The material is a bit too cheap. Kflex or Condor definitely last longer

Gotta love other cultures. It's pretty awesome that the colors are "candy soda" and "candy black berry". Now for the *real* question: Can you screw a 2BA steel conversion tip into the flights? If so: get a conversion tip with a grip, and throw the fins and a nose cone!

I have tried both k-fex and 8 flights, and the difference is noticeable. The 8 flights go tail down compared to the k-flex

These might not be for everyone. I have a hard and direct throw so I didn't notice much of a difference.

Yeah probably right, I tend to float my darts to the board. It's surprised me how much the flight and stem systems alter how my darts land

I found that you have to chech the flight almost everytime to make sure they are well screwed in!!

Sounds like your flights may have split at the bottom and keep coming loose.

I am. 😁 They honestly surprised me. I never expected that I'd like them. For me it was just another set of cool darts to review. But the grip is perfect for me. My pointer finger rests nicely into an indentation right in front of the Target logo. Love them
