Precious would be a great fit. I personally feel like he can play and defend 3-5...he spreads the floor a little, plays physical, plays with energy, crashes the boards and runs the floor at a high level for his size....he also has always played for a winner.

I'd want the Cavs to get Precious only if they immediately move Niang. Tyus is a legit backup PG. Whereas people are hoping Craig Porter Jr has potential. A risk idk if I want to take for a title run.

Tony, Luke Kennard and the Grizzlies both have strong mutual interest in Kennard returning to Memphis. The Grizzlies recently traded away 2021 top 10 pick Ziaire Williams to the Nets the other day in order to free up the necessary roster spot for Kennard to return to Memphis. Don't be surprised if they come to an agreement sooner than later. Kennard would be way out of the price range for the Cavs anyway, considering he made $56 million over 4 years on his last contract and still in his prime at 28 years old, you would think he would make at least half of that on his next deal

IMO, Okoro will reluctantly sign his 1-year tender. Then, w/the Cavs being hard capped, Koby will sign F Yuta Watanbe & F/C Chimezie Metu 2 veteran minimums using the 5 million Tax Payer MLE. Now, if the Cavs work out an S&T w/Okoro & 2 SRPs 4 DFS, now that's a win 4 me. If Okoro gets an offer, we dont match, and that gives us the 12 million Non Tax Payer MLE to sign FAs. Precious Achiuwa, Cedi Osman, and Lamar Stevens would be nice haul with the Non tax payer MLE.

Yuta Watanabe already signed with the Chiba Jets in Japan on July 11th. Watanabe is committed to playing overseas this season. As far as Cedi Osman and Lamar Stevens go, been there done that. We've already seen that movie, the nostalgia just isn't worth it. Cedi and Lamar would just be taking up 2 roster spots that should be given to more talented players instead

@bowdownb41uservetrigger70 it's about what we can afford. Precious is going to ask for more than 5 million. Definitely more than Niang's 8.5 million. That means we would only have like 3.5 million for 2 Roster spots. As far as Watanbe goes, instead of him since he already sign else where, Chuma Okeke from Orlando Magic. Look, this is who we can afford if we only have the 5 million Tax Payer MLE if Okoro re-signs.

@@deionowens997 Precious Achiuwa would be a great fit for the Cavs, playing as a 3rd big behind Jarrett and Evan. It sounds like Achiuwa and the Knicks are in wait-and-see mode right now, as New York has been looking for an upgrade at backup Center since they lost Isaiah Hartenstein to the Thunder. They may be looking at Achiuwa as a fallback option just in case I would really like to see the Cavs sign Lonnie Walker to a minimum deal. If the Cavs didn't have such a logjam at the guard position, Walker would be a perfect fit. You can never have enough 3 point shooting and instant offense off the bench in today's NBA

@bowdownb41uservetrigger70 we need size, though. Lonnie is another Sam/Okoro size type player. Luka Samanic from Utah, Jordan Nwora from TOR, and JT Thor from CHA all have height, youth, untapped potential, and all of them r cheap.

@@deionowens997 Yes that's true, the Cavs do need size. Lonnie is just a personal preference, I've always like his game and thought he has been underrated the past couple years. He's productive, averaging almost 10 points in only 17 minutes a game last year at 38% from 3. He was pretty good for the Lakers the season before too I've been intrigued with Jordan Nwora since his Milwaukee days. I'm surprised he's still unsigned being a true 6'8" small forward, teams usually flock to players with his size and age. It seems like he just needs to find the right situation, the potential is there. I like JT Thor too, lots of upside, good call with him. Cavs could get him on a minimum

@Kitk2022 Tell me..say we did trade for him do you really think that's a championship move? BI would take touches away from everybody especially Mobley who needs to shoot more this year. We can just trade for names bruh just because fans want a change. I admit we do need a more legit SF and BI ain't it for us and he's not that great of a defender or a3pt shooter, yes he shoots them but not at high volume...but we've watch very bad Browns teams for years and was still always optimistic but maybe that's just me. I'm not over emotional about sports anymore. I just watch for the entertainment of watching my teams and hope for the best
