@@viscount8388 Obviously it was a whole lot more to it than just the mavs defense, but if you genuinely watched these games through, I don’t know how you could come away thinking it wasn’t a real factor in Dallas losing so badly. Numbers can tell a part of the story, although watching it play out possession after possession is always the best way to truly understand everything that leads to the outcome of a game or series… it was several things, including some awful defensive stretches from dallas-especially late in games

I can tell u have no idea what your talking about. U said mavs biggest issue was their defense in the finals but it was their 3 point shooting. They were relying on guys like pj Washington and djj to be their sharpshooters and they couldn’t even hit wide open threes. They played the best defense on the Celtics out of any team in the postseason. U also forgot to mention they got spencer dinwiddie. Someone who averaged 17 points for them a few seasons ago. Bulls traded Caruso, a very highly wanted player around the league and was traded for Josh Giddey, all off court things aside, Giddey was statistically one of the worst starters in the league last season. OKC's numbers also went down when Giddey was on the court. Then, also remember, it's OKC who has the most picks in the league, and also consider OKC even traded five seconds just a few days later for just a late first rounder. Bulls absolutely could have at the very worst gotten one second rounder along with Giddey.
