First song of 8graves I found was Bury Me Low years ago. Since then they have diversified their style, and I like a lot about their newer songs too, but when I am not feeling so good, I know I can come to their older songs like Bury Me Low, RIP, Teeth, Eye for an Eye, or Beast and find some sort of comfort. A week ago I lost an item of sentimental and financial value, and now I am on the one hand super low on money and rent and bills are coming closer, but mostly it just bothers me so much that this item that was there with me during all my good memories is now gone and I feel like now those happy times are even further away. But then I listen to 8Graves and it gets better and I feel getting calmer on the one hand, and a bit more determined. I want to go back and search for what I've lost, but I know it's impossible to find it, I went hiking in pathless wilderness, almost 10km through mountains, forests, I even waded through an ice cold mountain stream. What I have lost is gone forever, impossible to find there. And I don't have the energy and time to travel all the way back. But I feel less alone with myself when listening to 8Graves, hard to explain. It just makes me feel less bad, and that is worth a lot. Dear 8Graves, if you ever read this, I just wanted to thank you. You make a difference with you music, you really help people.
