I remember an Admin Assistant interviewer asking me "give me a time where you've had to deal with a stakeholder, what was the interaction and how did you deal with it"... absolute blank!! Didn't get the job and the question has lived in my head for 6yrs because I still didn't understand the question or how to answer.

A stakeholder is someone who has an interest in an organisation. It could be another department for example. Here is a sample answer: “I was interacting with a stakeholder from another department. They were requesting assistance to complete a project and asked if we had anyone from our team available to help out. I asked them 3 questions: what skills were needed, what tasks would they be required to complete, and how long did they need the person for. I then spoke to my manager and suggested I could be the person to help out the department as I was confident I could manage my own workload while helping out the department. My manager agreed I could do this and I proceeded to help the department for the duration required.

Hi Richard, I've just had an interview today for an entry level student analyst position and thanks to your tips from your videos which I've binge watched the past few days I'd like to believe that it went quite well. I do although have a question which has formed up based on recurring thoughts afterwards when I reached home which I'd like to ask you about. There were points where I intentionally didn't steer the conversation towards asking my interviewer about his career and personal life so much, the reasoning behind this was that I wanted the interview to be more focused on me and my qualifications for this role, could this be perceived as rude or leave a bad impression in any way? Bro One query which i had was- Could you suggest some ways to break the pattern of increasing salary only on the basis of number of work experience in any company when we are judged by our work experience not other traits so how to earn more with less experience without being stuck in this cycle of counting years of experience to decide our worth ?? Hi richard how is this for the tell me about yourself question - I am currently studying computer science at the university center I have completed my first year and I have nearly completed my second year. Besides my studies I work for Royal Mail through an agency called Angard Staffing. My duties and responsiblities included sorting and unloading parcels as part of a team and on my own initiative. I worked well with my colleagues as we handled high volume parcels with effiency and accuracy I also worked for my families fast food business as a front of house team member. My duties and responsibilities included taking orders over the phone and face to face. I also had to make sure that I accept our online orders on our various platforms including just eat and our very own app . This required me to keep attention to detail to see if any of the orders had a special request. I also arranged the items in appropriate packaging, ensuring that the food remained fresh and presentable during transportation or pickup. This is also required me to keep organised.

I need serious help, please. Recently, I became certified in the healthcare field, but I have been having a difficult time finding a job due to "lack of experience."" I can't get a job because I don't have experience and I can not get experience because I can not find a job. Presently, I'm volunteering my time to a local health clinic to gain real-world experience as a phlebotomist while still applying for phlebotomist jobs. Im to a point that I'm applying at retail companies too to make money. BUT my volunteer shifts at the clinic change every week. If i get interviewed with a retail company how am i supposed to explain to a potential retail employer that i volunteer and shifts change every week, it would be short notice on what type of schedule i could work week after week...(Because i want to continue gaining real-world experience, so my resume will look better) Plus, the job wouldn't be long-term because my goal is to have a career in healthcare. I just need a job and am not sure about the best way to talk about it. I know this is long, but I'm lost on how to explain my situation to potential retail employers. Thank you!!

@@CareerVidz one of the most difficult feedback i recieved was when a customer left a negative review on our website, siting that my service was confusing and frustrated the customer, while it was difficult to recieve such feedback, i saw it as an opportunity for a professional development, i reviewed my actions and recognized my communication may have not been as clear, i didnt consider the customer's technical knowledge or capabilities, i worked to improve my service first i ask the customer some questions to understand their technical understanding, tailored my responses to be very simple and straight to the point with less technical terms, i have learned how to follow up with clients throughout the process.. this sums up my response. If i do not get the job i talked about prior events that i applied for a job that i was passionate about and failed to get it, i acknowleged what i should have done better and lessons i learnt, and i have improved. If i am not succesful , i would approach it with the same level of reflection and improvement, i value feedback and constructive criticisms and i would use the feedback i recieved from your company to improve my abilities and attitude, then i talked about every event is a learning opportunity to be better prepared for future opportunities. On a scale of 1-7 i would rate myself a 7, i talked about the many positive opportunuties that came my way, but attributing it to luck would be incorrect, much of which is viewed as luck comes from hard work, determination, i talked about how resilent i am relating to the job scope, how i view failures as stepping stones to my growth etc… this is the summary…… I did not get the job.. but thanks to you i am more prepared than ever, i have learned a lot from your channel and you have boosted my confidence. I know that there is a better job out there for me and when i get it, (soon) i would come back here to thank you.
