I recently purchased a new Jackson JS32T Rhoads, Black with White Bevels, Made in Indonesia. It was on sale for US $236 with free shipping. Its' fit and finish is flawless; zero issues or flaws; setup was near perfect, all I had to do was a minor intonation adjustment. Well balanced, very light weight, if it weighs 6 lbs I'd be surprised, very comfortable and easy to play. I had planned to replace the stock pickups and add a coil tap, but the stock pickups sound great, clear, full and respond well to guitar volume, only getting dirty starting at guitar volume on 8+. Hands down this is the best guitar value I've ever found. I have seen guitars costing several times as much with flaws and needing much work... Cheers!

I have 2 of the Eart Strats that I changed out the pickups and tuners. I challenge anyone to find a better playing guitar. Get one and fix the frets if you need to and you're still getting something that blows away any Fender I've ever played. They modeled a lot of their guitars around Suhr guitars and have become my favorite guitars mainly from a playability standpoint. They just play and feel unreal.

Great video 🙂 Very informative 🙂 Truth is, most guitars costing under $300 ( sometimes more ) will require a complete fret leveling... Most of the guitars in my collection are affordable guitars and every time I'll do a fret leveling plus other things and mods according to my personal taste... But it's true that Harley Benton has come a LONG way since the 2000's... Back then their guitars were so terrible it used to be a joke among us guitar players 😄😄😄 I own 8 so far and I am wowed... Again, great video 🙂🙂🙂

My Eart SSS is unbelievable! Best guitar I have ever owned. When I decided to get serious about guitar, I bought a Fender for 1,500.00. I was proud until about a month later when a friend of mine was playing a solo.....He noticed right away something very wrong.....I was not at the stage in my playing to even think about playing the upper register.........to find the neck was twisted along with some fret issues. I could not return it and swore I would never pay that much again and actually built myself one. Until the Eart, my DIY was my favorite. I wish Eart the best as I cannot believe the attention to detail, down to the embossed logo on the injection molded foam shipping case.

Made the same mistake. Bought a US strat, because i thought that’s what you’re supposed to do. Never really liked it and apparently the truss rod was broken! Had to sell it at a huge loss. I have the original Ibanez SA260 that was made strictly for the Japanese market but outsourced to Korea. Well, it has a 3 piece neck + the fretboard, its trem bar is a much more advanced one, and the frame around the bridge pup is rectangular, not this weirdo cut corner shape. This new Chinese one is a much cheaper version.

Wow, I actually have an Eko strat. I love it :) It was given to me for my birthday five years ago and, tbh, as far as I'm concerned, it's an excellent guitar, especially for its price. That being said, when I went to buy a better amp, I asked for the same model guitar to test it with. The guitar that the store clerk gave me had brutal fret sprout. So maybe I lucked out. Or maybe you didn't. Or maybe the fact that my sister, who can play pretty well, handpicked the guitar helped. I can't disagree with you, because I've only played two Eko strats, and even though they were the same model, the one that wasn't handpicked by the other guitarist in my family wasn't that good. Edit, because I want to add something: Sadly, the secondhand market in my country is just horrible. Way too many people try to sell their used instruments or gear at the same price they've bought them for, or even higher.

I enjoyed this video, an value your opinion, but (and there always is a but!) you do feature a lot of Harley Benton axes here. IMHO, if you live in Europe, Harley Bentons are unbeatable in the lower price range, simply because of the sheer variety of models they offer at low prices, combined with the consistent quality of the instruments. Yes. I bought a used SX Strat for £70 but I bought it as a bit of a project . I had to have the frets levelled, eventually (my friend did it for free) but really only after I changed the trem for a Wilkinson trem. I put Vanson Locking tuners on it and a Graphtec tusk nut. I liked it but then it just didn't sound right so I bought some cheap Warman Texas triple and now it's great. I actually bought a Swap ash Telecaster Maple neck, awesome guitar for the money, but if your expecting to hear a Telecaster you won't these pickup's are hot. I'm cool with that though and it's a great guitar I paid £200 for. My other Strats are a little more expensive I bought a Michael Kelly 63 Strat, and the last one I bought is the Larry Carlton FM S7 in Blue and those 2 guitars are awesome. BTW The new Ibanez Azes look Megga for the money. Harley Benton really up'd their game and I've heard great things about them. lovely to hear a guitar player who is'nt a Brand snob.

@@MrPolevaulter Okay. I was looking through all your videos and I didn't see any about this guitar but just in case you had tried it I ventured to ask you. Thank you very much for your quick response though. And thanks for sharing your videos. Best regards.

Have you had chance to play a Firefly guitar? If not, I would encourage you to track one or two down to try and review. They are selling really well in US

Wish rock guitarist demoing t style guitars would play some early zep style licks or yardbirds. Also what was the song the licks you played after the I’ll see the light tonight licks?

It was this video that convinced me to stump up the £139.00 for a TE62 and you are right - what a brilliant instrument, especially for the price. Best budget Tele copy I've ever owned - looks great, sounds like a Tele should, well made, plays well and even comes with decent strings. Definitely no complaints and if you're thinking of a guitar of this type at this price point, you won't be disappointed.

@@skromnytomasz3489 That is the most common criticism of the TE52 but the TE62 is actually a lot lighter - about what you would expect for a T style.
@Old_Geezer10 ай бұрын
@@skromnytomasz3489 From memory I think the TE-52 is a hefty 10lbs, the TE-62 comes in at a much more sensible 6.7lbs - both approximations but shows what a big difference we're talking. The TE-62 is available in "CC" version, without the binding on the body and very slightly cheaper than the "DB" (about £6) the latter also has a laurel fretboard as opposed to the maple on the "CC" - just cosmetic preferences but I prefer the look of the "DB" myself.
