A grown man who cried on his last ring entrance in ROH but now says he doesn't miss the business at all since 2014. Good job Vince.
@cmpork71454 жыл бұрын
That's punks own fault for at the end of the day it's on the individual on how they respond to the shit life throws their way. He could've gone elsewhere to relight the fire. Vince could only do so much, but Punk choose to go to UFC, a place he had no business in instead of trying Japan or making visits to ROH at least for appearances. Proof of all of this is Moxley who was in a similar position and yet look at him now, he's the most content he's been because he held on even as Vince stomped away at his passion

@@cmpork7145 punk has always been a bit pathological , I think he became bigger than wrestling for a bit and tried to do the crossover thing because realistically where do you go after being the "best in the world" in the largest and most ubiquitous promotion in the world? Raven's one of my favorites of all time and he's one of the reasons I have ROH a chance. CM Punk, along with the other godfathers of honor, Samoa Joe and Homicide, and the fathers of ROH (Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels, and Low-Ki) made me BELIEVE in ROH. That night CM Punk showed up, despite the blizzard, was INSANE! I ordered that DVD the SECOND it was available! That crowd was LIT AF!!!! I can't tell you how many times I've watched Joe vs. Punk II. Those three bouts are required viewing for any wrestling fan. The farewell bout with Colt was so emotional. His entrance alone brought tears to my eyes. Great list, ROH. "The champ Is here" in that promo was not a John Cena reference, It was for Samoa Joe. Joe was ROH Champion from March 2003 to December 2004 and during most of that title reign his theme song was "The Champ Is Here" by Jadakiss. So Joe started saying "the champ Is here" in promos here and there actually before Cena did (and since Joe and Cena actually knew each other and were friends back then it's also said Cena might have taken It from Joe). So Punk here was taunting Joe, who was seen by everybody as the best ROH Champ up until that point, and of course was Punk's greatest rival.
