A 991.2 GTS could be, or beat, the equivalent of the best version of almost any other (non-911) car ever produced.

Yes the best, even better with a Milltek center muffler bypass. Own a 997 gts manual cab and will never sell it. Manual 997 GTS are quite hard to find in Europe, particularly for convertible.

I would have to choose one from each generation as they are all full of such great character. The latest generations are unreal for sure but I would have such a tough time deciding on only one. I can tell all of my favourites would have a manual transmission!

I believe one of the greatest 911s has to be the Carrera 3.2 CS - limited to around 300 units, power to weight similar to the 2.7 RS and the last 911 without ABS and Power steering, therefore the last of the purist driving 911s.

In the late 1990's I took out a test drive, the car was 993 Carrera 4S. It turned into a 100 mile test drive, which the sales man didn't even blink, plus the high speeds which were attained. The cars price used from Porsche was £47,000. The 911 all of them hold a special place for millions and millions of people. Well done.

The best 911 is'nt from Porsche IMO it's a RUF ❣️😅 The latest RUF Tribute with aircooled engine and the SCR+CTR with carbon Chassis, the shape of the 964 and manual shifting ❕👌🏼 Only the price of around 900.000€ is sad 😜

As a owner of many sports cars over my life since I started driving (with 4 of them being made by Porsche) I can honestly say that while all were great cars and I loved them all, the best one is the 992.1 S version that I feel is about as great as you can get. Manual transmission in all of them. No sports car should be equipped with an automatic transmission. An automatic transmission in a sports car is like dating your cousin. It is just wrong.

There is only one turbocharged car in this list.

Bizarre - no 2.7 RS , no post 2000 RS's at all? ? - in particular the 2007 997 RS , 2012 4.0 RS , current 992 RS - NO compilation of greatest 911's can ever exclude at least one of these. If this production was meant to be thought provoking , then you have certainly achieved that !!! NOT to forget the Le Mans winning 911 GT1. Suggest you put more effort into your next video - terribly unsatisfactory!!!!!
