#7 you can expand this by saying: do something outdoor on your own. A lot of people spend some/much time on their own but that alone-time is mostly, if not always, indoors. Going out to a cinema, theater, sports game, concert, even a restaurant or bar, can be done on your own as well. But we usually limit ourselves to doing those things when we're with other people, which is not needed. You can see it as going on a "date" with yourself. It might feel awkward but that's the point.
@mustafavapiwala53296 жыл бұрын
psteeg I have tried this and gradually you end up feeling so comfortable with yourself, that it feels like magic.
@mustafavapiwala53296 жыл бұрын
Areshio Izumi I can relate to the awkwardness you might feel but that’s just because you might be afraid of others looking at you and judging you based on the fact that you’re alone? (This is what happened with me initially, the reason for your awkwardness might be different). But to overcome it, simply carry your favorite book or plug in your earphones and listen to music or an audiobook.. do something that you would do when you’re alone.. I hope this helps! :) Have a good day!
@smartwater5986 жыл бұрын
what can be benefited from this?
@psteeg35516 жыл бұрын
@@smartwater598 it can be a step towards becoming less socially awkward (for those who are socially awkward), or afraid of going out, or afraid of doing something different than usual. The activity itself could be anything, and it's not important what you do. What's important is that you don't make yourself "trapped" at home because "everything in the outside world is scary and awkward" which is untrue.

Nice ideas! I'd add "practice being present deeply". Our culture is focused on refining, accomplishing, doing, creating, improving and optimizing, and we loose site experiencing what ever activity is happening in a given moment, and doing this fully and deeply (i.e. eating, walking, talking, listening, showering, cuddling, playing, cleaning, sitting, etc.)

Number 7 is what affects me the most lately I guess. I'm with my roommates most of the time and being surrounded by people for a long time just drains me. Regarding Tip 8, it's not just that "there is always a better way to do something". What may have been "best" last week or last month may not be "best" now or in the future. Review a process weekly as well as your tasks and projects. An acceptable outcome can be "Yes, this is still the best way for me to do this."

I love the concept of high-density fun! most of my friends don't share this with me though, so I just do fun new stuff without them. Since a few years ago I have started solo travel, surfing, yoga holidays, salsa dancing... I learned a lot about myself, and became better at casual interactions and quickly connecting with new people. I still meet regularly my old friends as we love and support each other no matter what, but I need more novelty in my life than they do.

Tigre Demon Hey Tigre, I can relate, man. If it’s not too personal, are you on any meds? Sometimes all you can do while you’re taking them is just rest and focus on small stuff like eating nutritious stuff and staying hydrated. Then only make changes once you’re feeling way better - which takes a bit of patience. But if you’re not on meds and still struggling, what helped me was a daily gratitude journal. Literally, basic stuff, just spending 5-10 mins each morning thinking what I was grateful for in my life; focusing on creating a feeling of gratitude rather than whether or not the item was dumb. Stuff like “hot coffee”, “being able to go for a walk”, “good music”, “having my brother” etc. I tried it just for a month or so and genuinely started to notice a difference in my mood and how I felt about my life. Then could start to make positive changes. Worth a shot? Happy holidays

Major life events have kept me away from it, so NOW is the time. I always sort my articles by date and category. When I sort by category it allows me to work on putting all the links that go together on the same page, then move on to another page's new links. A Real time saver! Thanks for this video. On the subject of doing things well, the words in these videos are well enunciated, the grammar is good and there is little to no use of filler words. You should make a course for other KZbin "Influencers" to share these skills. So many of them over use 'actually', 'you guys', 'ok' or replace 't''s with an apostrophe (bu'on). Even though your content seems to be geared towards younger people, this cranky, old boomer gets a lot out of it. You are an inspiration!

When you're overhead shoulder pressing don't allow your elbows to sink below your armpits. Keep them level to your shoulders in order to avoid injury. Careful working out your shoulders. Especially if you take any sort of caffeine such as pre-workout before the actions because those supplements don't allow you to notice fatigue and other detrimental things toward your muscle growth. Shoulders are very easy to become injured. Btw thank you for your videos! I have improved myself drastically and your perspective on individualizing myself according to the association with your habits and lifestyle allowed me to progress more efficiently.

Hey Thomas, good job on the content. I would like a video that shares or discusses the typical values, traits or qualities of a disciplined or productive person. What kind of belief system they tend to have and or mindset. What is the nature of a person who thinks and lives like this, in comparison to the person who would like to have this working for them? Because while this advice and insight might be helpful, there are some people like my self that require someone to spell it out to me, showing me the a-b-c logic. You provide the basic ideas here, I see that, but I would like content that enlightens us, viewers, to understand and realize the mental blocks that deny us the follow-through or conviction to be sold on these ideas, or see the value. For instance, we need to use the system to trust it and then rely on it, or a plan and vision go together, a calendar and schedule go together, the time of need will dictate your motivation or need to know, stuff like that. I have never valued the need of a calendar until I valued consistency until I was sold on the need to get regular sleep, for my own good. Needs seem to be the eye-opener. This clarity or order and reason is missing in the minds of some nonsavvy office workers. There's a lot of factors or aspects of being, doing and, having and the order of need and necessity that it all happens in that goes unappreciated. Maybe I'm just too philosophical and get too caught up in the abstract.
